Girs still doesn't retain his name.

First Guardian of Kalliope still doesn't keep its name.
Pink Elekk is oddly level 60 now (was it always?), and is still friendly.
Blood Seeker continues to be impossible to find because of that dumb dragon Aeonaxx.
Still can't get Ventun and Lor to spawn in my hunter's Torghast, despite being on the correct quest on live and beta. Need someone else with a fresh or nearly level 60 alt to verify if they're truly gone. Quest is when you first enter Torghast on that alt, and need to rescue Baine.

It definitely wasn't on the list, but it's certainly something that should keep its name. It's an important creature for a quest, much like many other tameables who keep their name.

9.1 Mounts:

I have a page up on Warcraft Mounts, showing all the upcoming mounts and mount models:

It's still a bit rough as I still have to add sources to a lot of mounts (and a custom logo). I'm currently working on it. In the meantime, if you navigate to the individual mount pages you'll find Wowhead links for more information on each.

After that, I'll add matching mounts and minipets to the new Petopia models (and matching minipets for WCM).


Also, I posted this on Twitter, but this horse mount has a chilling description... poor thing.

I'm a fan of all the gold Maw-themed stuff, I really am, but they make the flavor text for anything gold seem like the most abused. Gold is malleable and NOT IN ANY WAY VIABLE as armor or weapons, so it makes sense, but still.

It is possible that gold Maw-themed stuff is not actual gold but is infused with the Light. Anduin is enslaved by the Jailer now and so it is possible that Anduin is also now forcing the Light to serve the Jailer in some way.

I'm fairly certain it actually is gold. One of the battle pets from Korthia outright admits it by saying the gilded armor is a punishment. https://ptr.wowhead.com/npc=179239/gilded-darknight
So, it's almost certainly gold, or a metal that's equally viable as gold. Which is pretty funny to be honest. If only we had some pets wearing gold armor.
