Please consider showing your support/ filing a ticket as requested, as the issue with skins/accents has not been resolved or even looked into (as was promised when they locked my ancient thread of 'Cut skin/accent makers some slack'.)
EDIT:
As expected, thread was deleted. But it had many many people who saw it and replied to it at the very least.
I hope that many people opened tickets.
Here was the first post.
i. What is this?
This is not a suggestion thread, hence why it's not posted in suggestions. This is an information and awareness post.
Skin submission is a very lengthy process for a majority of skin artists. The biggest frustration we are dealing with currently is lack of clarification on rules. The current skin guide is nearly a decade out of date.
We do not ask for the rules to be changed. We would like staff to update the on-site skin guide. Rules have clearly changed since it was written and there are VERY minor things that will get a skin 100% denied.
Failing that, this can serve as a warning for aspiring skin artists to not fall into these common denial traps.
ii. Why is this an issue?
Most people don't know about the approval process for skins.
It takes about 8 days after a skin is submitted for it to be looked at by the two skin mods.
If they determine that the skin may need further review by an admin, it goes into another, second queue.
This can add another week of time onto the original wait time, before it is either denied or accepted by the admin.
This is where our frustration lies. There are often unspoken rules that are not mentioned anywhere on site about skins. You can only find out the hard way, by submitting a skin and being hit by a denial after weeks of waiting.
You may disagree with some of the examples. You may think that they shouldn't be allowed on site. That's fine. We just want clear, updated guidelines on what is and isn't allowed.
