Hi all! Some Youtube vids on dragonriding with SoulsoBreezy and Hazelnuttygaming sharing their experiences with the feature.
First up, SoulsoBreezy. His video has some nice detail on dragonriding mechanics.

Next, Hazelnutty. Though she goes into other details about general gameplay with her Evoker and other DF news, she touches more on the possible work around for those worried if they'll get motion sickness dragonriding.

Re: Alpha Dragonriding With SoulsoBreezy And Hazelnutty
The mounts are so absurdly tiny, jeez. More like dragonlets.
On topic, the flight mechanics seem nice. Granted, it's a basic start rather than the full package, but it looks better than default flight. It's unfortunate that the dragons can't hover, but considering they can fly so insanely fast (950% speed, WHAT), it's fair. The fear of motion sickness should be fairly minimal, as there's barely enough movement to really trigger anything other than "okay, time to land for a bit". Granted, I LOVE flying super fast in games as I love things like F-Zero and Wipeout, so I'm not exactly the right person to judge on motion sickness concerns, but everything seems like it'll be easy to manage.
I don't care for Evoker, as I vehemently hate the trash design of the characters themselves, so I didn't really watch the latter video.
