World bosses just got a big drop rate buff!

so for those who did not know what just went down this afternoon, apparently there was a bug where Evokers had a nearly 100% drop chance for Sha and Nalak. (how ironic. dragons favored dragons.)

They quickly put a stop to this with a hotfix. but the damage had already been done. So I guess to help balance the scales (heh) Blizz just dropped another hotfix to greatly buff the drop chance of Sha, Nalak, Gal, Oon and Ruk for EVERYONE!

No one is too sure what it is just yet, since the hotfix happened only about 2 hours ago- but so far people are seeing a fair number of drops. some are theorizing it may even be higher than 1% but that's not confirmed.

So if you have been neglecting your world boss farms, rejoice! now is a good time to get back into it! Happy hunting

It's about time. There was NEVER any acceptable reason for the stupidly low drop chances. I got Galleon and Oondasta's mounts before this buff (over two years ago), but Sha of Anger and Nalak have been unacceptably stingy. ESPECIALLY Nalak, who's the worst one to get to because of how long the travel time is. As a reasonable adult, I'm glad the chances got boosted; people don't need to waste hours farming in vain. I mean, we still might, but this is objectively and 100% unanimously a good change. Anyone who disagrees is just a vain jerk that doesn't deserve their shiny pixels.

@Maria: There's no duration, as it's permanent unless they state otherwise at some point.
