Pokemon Online

Unread post by Noblebeastx »

I see that alot of people not only like wow here but also pokemon.I quit playing pokemon when i was about 13,i am age 16 now and i don't know how old everyone here is but it made me want to play.I used to think it was childish because i thought its more of a baby game.As you grow up and mature you also get wiser.First off everyone loves doing certain things, don't let others bring you down.It is your life do what you want with it.When i was younger i always wanted to fit in.I notice now thou that as i was trying to grow up and act cool, all the other kids was trying to do same thing. Now i don't really care i am 16 i play wow,i play pokemon,i watch cartoons at least certain ones.

So since i no longer have a gameboy xp or a Ds i was surfing the net for a good online mmo pokemon site.I found a great one but it seems due to alot of hacking they have not been allowing no new members for about a month so i could not register there.

So keep looking and found this one

I'm sixteen and I never have, and probably never will, think of Pokémon as childish. There were times a few months ago (when I was in school) me and some friends would stand there with our pokéwalkers, or battling/trading. They would give us weird looks, and if someone told me it was childish I would just /ignore them or just say (Most of the time the comment would be from a football fan) "You like football, which you were introduced to when you were young, in the same way I was introduced into Pokémon when I was young. So how can you have that narrowminded view?" But that sentence would of been wasted energy. I used words with more than 3 letters, so they would of been completely lost...

My dad thinks it's childish too, and whenever I go to Game he asks me if i'm sure I want to spend however much both games cost. Ah well, what can yo do if some people have that kind of mind set.

Heh.. I'm turning 21 in a couple of days and love Pokémon. Due to not having any consoles earlier, I didn't start playing it until 3 years ago, when I got my first DS. After that I've gotten completely hooked in the games.

Ungoro, I hear you there. My dad is such an ass at times, mocking me if I'm watching cartoons - which is pretty odd, seeing as he loves Donald Duck and some of the other classic shorts from Disney. >.< If I'm watching Brother Bear, he goes "you're watching [insert some well-known kids' show with bears here]? AWWWW". All in all he assumes that every cartoon that's being watched in our house is something by the lines of Teletubbies.

Back on topic: *checks the site out*

Edit: I wonder how common shinies are in that online game. o.O I just caught a shiny Weedle. XD

Edit2: Apparently they're awfully common. :( Encountered a shiny Larvitar but ran out of balls and just now caught a shiny Smeargle and Zubat. <.<

Okay, I don't think that this game is for me..
