I personally dont think that it being "popular" should determine if you tame it or not. I mean look at those Zul'Drak hounds those were WAY popular for the longest time and then it died down and now everybody has northrend worgs. /shrug - I'll be getting a fox because I've waited for 1 since day one of WoW

It depends on your server, too. The Northrend worgs were more popular on mine, then blighthounds started creeping up in popularity. >_>

wither way i just have an unusal pet peeve on tmaeing pets the wren't very popular, to me if they're popular they just seem as special anymore, and i get bored of them quickly but i know i'll tame a fox if they aren't popular cause they're just to darn cute.

Unfortunately 95% of the population will tame a fox. And tbh you should tame it, if you really want to tame it, no matter how many people have it or will have it. Because pet fads come and go, and it's going to be even more evident in Cata, not because of the change to pets, but because of stable slots. Most people will go on camping sprees for all pets.

This is making me dread camping for rares now tho.

Don't let people turn you off from a skin you like, or a beast you want to tame.

I am still keeping ym fingers crossed for snails. The fox is cool, but if they are thew same exact thing as my wolf, I have no need to get one. I like my wolf because he looks like my 14 yeat old dog, Elvis (pet s named Elvus because his name is not allowable). Anywho, hoping for snails. I think they will be critters, but I can keep my fingers crossed.

I'm hoping for foxes to be smaller, not teeny things but not wolf sized either. Nothing wrong with having smaller sized hunter pets.

Same reason I am going to roll a Worgen, always wanted to be one since first visiting Duskwood. To bad the new Worgen don't look as bad ass as the old one, and I will probobly be called names for rolling one but I don't care:)

VERY much agreed. I'm already getting crap about wanting to roll both Worgens AND Goblins. I've liked them both for forever, and hey, if Blizz is giving them to me, I'm dang well gonna play 'em and anyone who feels different can suck it (or at least not give me crap about it).
