I loved the Witcher short story collection, and have enjoyed reading the first few novels. The second season made me so angry, I haven't watched it since

The dragon war college sounds interesting, Ana!
Currently reading Le Guin's Searoad, half short story collection half family saga about a very small town in the usa pacific northwest. I've enjoyed everything of hers I've read, and this is no exception.
Also reading Bakic's Mars, a short story collection for my book club. I've enjoyed a couple of the stories, but it's a bit uneven overall. to be fair I'm only about a third of the way through it, and some things may have been lost in translation.
my recent guilty pleasure read was Watkins' The Persian Always Meows Twice, a murder mystery with a cat groomer/boarder as the protagonist. it was ok, but I think I've read better cat mysteries
