Great whilte Elek?

Anyone being able to try to tame this? I tried at all hours a day but it´s always camped.. I wanted to know if it kept its name

When the quest was first available, I used beast lore on everything. Nothing from the revamped Love is in the Air event is tameable, including the Great White Elekk.

That's kind of a shame. It'd look good with a pink elekk as the second pet. I hate to admit that I didn't even think to go and try to use Beast Lore on it.
