The Escaped Lynx actually comes in black and brown.

The Docile Cloudrooks actually come in all 3 colours! It's just the colours are so similar it's hard to differentiate them at first glance.

God, I need to force time into my schedule to check out the beta. Been so busy that I can't play that much. Glad to see the stormrooks are finally added, though they really have quite the pompous pose. They're always looking down on everything with that head angle. Pleasantly pompous!

I love the new cloudrooks! I have been trying to get on beta this week but my life schedule has been crazy. Hopefully I can get some levels in and check out some of the new beasts out there!

I am thrilled cloudrooks are tameable, but I also wish there are tameable stormrooks as well even though they have 1,000,000,000 combinations and only one is a spirit beast

That one stormrook does have five different looks at least! (despite being a named NPC, which is odd). It's just a matter of figuring out the way to tame it. That method may not be available to test yet, like how Nah'qi('s AWFUL acquisition method) wasn't known until someone beat mythic Fyrakk. I GREATLY hope that Aradan isn't tied to the raid, because the majority of the community clearly hated that, but regardless, Aradan is just a mystery yet to be solved. More looks and colors on different NPCs wouldn't hurt though. Get a manasaber sort of situation going for our new lightning birds, and whatnot.

Still hoping we get more access to the stormrooks / gryphons. I really like that model so much more.

Could someone with Beta access and a character that can tame blood beasts please check if the following two rares retain their names as of this latest build?

- Twice-Stinger the Wretched at Thunderhead Peak in the north of Dorn.
- Vilewing at Ruptured Lake in Azj-Kahet (it's east of the webbed boat that is part of the intro to the zone).

I'm kinda surprised how close we are to release but there's not really anything new. No new book tames or family.

They both retain the names when tamed. Though Vilewing wasnt showing up as a rare.

Also - there are a bunch of the cloudrooks in the mountain area just north of main city (dorngal sp?). Also found a scroll to read in a cave at the mountain where the shielded stormrook rare is - seems it may be about taming the SB, or at least removing shield from that rare if nobody has found a way yet? theres also a stormrider guy with a friendly storm rook near the base of the mountain. Ive been placing holy candles all over the place .

I'm aware of the stormrook but haven't had time to check it out yet, since nobody knows how to release it. Too much to do

If anyone on the beta is feeling eager, I'd love some help checking Island Expeditions, in particular if any of the unused looks at the top of this list are now tameable:

I.e. 2 crabs, a bunch of rare loa toads, and some wolves that have cloth on their legs.

If tameable, I need to know if they retain their name, and if they make sounds when clicked.

Does anyone know if any of the Grand Wyverns are tameable yet? Been waiting for the updated models ever since we got Gryphons and the Feathermane family. So...a long time.

I'll take a gander at the island expeditions If I spot anything I'll put a note up

So far NO beasts are tameable at all. This is very weird. I'm doing another one and if nothing is tameable again I'll switch to another server.

Not sure what's going on. Tried another server, still found almost everything set as not tameable even when it likely should have been. Did run into an island that had the cloud serpents, was able to tame one of those.

Okay did a third on a new char, on a different server. Once again nothing on the island was tameable. I'm not sure if that's the norm but it sure shouldn't be. Didn't see any of the rares on the list unfortunately during my attempts.

Most Island Expeditions NPCs were never tameable and most probably still aren't. It's just the ones with unique / currently untameable looks I was interested in. Those frogs and banded wolves and the two crabs

In that case I'll look again if I've got time tonight How very weird that they were never tameable.

I've just been trying them and it took many tries to find anything on that list. But I just tamed Old One-Fang and Gol'kun the Vicious from the same expedition. Both are unique wolves with bands of cloth on their legs and both keep their names when tamed.

Update: also found one of the two unique crabs: Abyss Crawler. It also keeps its name when tamed.

Also Direprowl the Ravager, another banded wolf, aslso keeps name.

That's very awesome! Now everyone can get the cloth banded wolves, not just new chars!

Yup! And the great thing is there are exactly 7 IE rares with those unique looks, one covering each look. None are missing
