Kinda hope they change him to be a Blood Beast, tbh.

Someone on discord pointed out Nathria isn't available, which usually means they're tinkering with something in the raid.

It might be worth checking on Shriekwing and the Huntsman Dogs once it comes up.

Also, Uldir is still not available for me?

Yeah, not sure how you managed to get in, but I'm also unable to go into Uldir. Either way, it's good to have visual confirmation that the ugly fella is tameable. Really needs to be changed to a blood beast though, as Maizou said. Having a hydra body plan doesn't instantly make you a hydra, much like how ankylodons and shardhides aren't bears.

I also couldn't get into Nathria on any difficulty on the level 80 beta realm.

Not sure why others can't get into Uldir though, I didn't try on the previous Beta build, but as of 55522 on the level 80 "these go to eleven" realm, I just ran from Org to Zuldazar, and just flew north to Uldir. Very strange!

I could honestly see the Fetid Devourer as a Hydra, a Blood Beast, or a Chimera.

Oh. I hadn't tried the "go to 11" server. I didn't realise that made a difference!

I was able to enter uldir to tame fetid devourer on the eleven realm/lvl 80 testing realm, but not able to go in on regular war within realms. Strange to me. I hope blizzard soon removes the stomping of grong and reduce the volume of his attack sounds cuz it’s very loud like the raid boss, fetid devourer could get stomping sounds reduced, but it’s way more subtle and manageable than grong’s

Edit - is it just me or is my beta kinda broken, Wain found every color of docile cloudrook and only one spawns for me, and it’s the grey one, how can I tell it’s the only one, the grey one is the only color with the darker facial plumage as opposed to the other ones having lighter facial plumage under their eyes. I could try doing a scan and repair, but it’s probably just a beta thing

I only just found this out today, but it appears in the latest build they've added "Docile Cloudrooks" to more parts of the island, but they're different IDs and have single colours. I noticed the ones around the big mountain above Dornogal city had 2 different IDs with different colours: the ones on the southern and highest slopes were the lightest one with the purplish tint (229705) and the ones on the northern slopes were the greyish one with white cheeks (229704). The light ones with the 229705 ID also occur around Freywold Village in the far south.

The originals (ID 229638) still exist and come in all 3 colours, though (I'm sitting next to 3 right now that are all different colours). They can be found on an island off the south-east coast:

Damn, now this is confusing...

There are Docile Cloudrooks on an island in the west, between Storm's Watch and Dhar Oztan, that have the same ID was the ones in the east (ID 229638) that come in three colours, but these only seem to come in one colour: the one with the dark cheeks, i.e.:

It's rare that you see NPCs with the same ID but their range of possible appearances is different. Their looks must be controlled by something else when they're spawned.

It's also a pain, because now I have to describe which colours come in which ranges in their notes :P

Blizzard's out to make Wain work harder. Just think though; it's worth it to have detailed info available!

Genuinely curious. Is there still beasts we have yet to see? Or are we just checking what's available now? I am still holding my breath to see when those new crocalisk drop.

I don't think much else will be added at this point (though it's not impossible). It's too close to release for them to be allowed to make many changes.

As for those croco/basilisk mounts, I don't think a non-mount model was added :( Correct me if I'm wrong and I missed it.

But we're still trying to find things that are already in! Most especially, I'd really appreciate people trying out quests and telling me if beasts (that we haven't added) might appear or spawn during them and if they're tameable. I've done the vast bulk of the cataloguing, but I can't be everywhere and try everything, so any help is appreciated :)

You practically already have everything worth mentioning listed, after all! The War Within, as well as the two expansions after, are supposedly shorter than what we've been used to, so I wouldn't be surprised if everything we have right now IS everything for now. Plus, we're so close to launch that things could happen out of nowhere. You've done a huge load of heavy lifting as is, so just take a breather and let new stuff fall into your lap. You bet that if we find something, it'll be here in no time. I've intentionally ignored quest text and story stuff outside of the intro content when testing content, so I remain somewhat spoiler-free outside of the EXCESSIVE and pathetic simping for the Hallowfall woman and Oreo the Harronir. Those two should've been surprises, not advertised side show attractions. Plus, I'm still a bit sad we don't have tameable versions of the Harronir bats. I was absolutely looking forward to those.

On a better note at least, we got absolutely spoiled with the BfA tames. I'm a little sad that the Spawn of G'huun wasn't flagged and changed to a blood beast or worm, but seeing that we can get Grong, Fetid Devourer, Rezan, and the loa toad models from island expeditions? That's a huge amount by themselves. I only expected Grong and Fetid, but I didn't even think we'd get Rezan since his corpse DID technically belong to a Loa for a short time, and the frogs were out of left field since they clearly abandoned islands early on. Still a lot of island stuff left to be fixed, but the toads are a very welcome start, I'd say!

Everything does seem to be close to complete, the only thing we need is a way to get both grongs in opposite factions. I want to have both of them in my stables. There should be a way to have models available to both horde and alliance. I find it odd for a living gorilla to be for the horde and a undead gorilla for the alliance. Aside from that the boss tames made me happy to play war within more than before. I’m ready but not too excited to find the right wolf color in islands, it’s going to be a rare treat to have in my stables. Same with the Loa toads I’ve been waiting for years to tame
