I finally got around to adding a unique look page for the tameable voidstalkers in Hallowfall. Up till now I've had them grouped with the others.
The 2 types in Hallowfall aren't hugely different to the original, but they do keep an aura with some nice magenta-purple effects.
The purple streaks come and go constantly, and also their eyes flicker a lot more than the regular ones. They're also a bit darker, due to the dark mist from the same aura.
It's subtle, but present. It's mostly obvious as an occasional flicker of magenta across parts of its body, but mostly it looks the same as the originals, just a little darker due to subtle black fogging.
I'd known about it for a long time but forgot to make the distinction until Aroim reminded me.

I also had forgotten about it at some point, it's been a while since Lemlia Luna told me about it and then I passed it on to you, I still remember that xD
Good thing that someone mentioned it in the secret finding discord ^^,
That subtlety reminds me of how a friend kept telling me his pink elekk was semi-transparent, and I was going on a dungeon capping spree during Brewfest to try and find a ghostly pink elekk to no avail lol. Grabbed one these stalkers just to watch for the glow, but I swear I blink every time it happens. Is this on every stalker out there, or only some?

I think both of those NPCs from Hallowfall only come in the version with the black fog and purple sparks. The purple cycles very frequently, so you shouldn't be able to miss it, unless maybe you have some graphics setting turned off that it requires?
It might be a graphics thing now that I think about it. I remember running a few of those fancy commands to adjust my graphics to see how fast I could make the game load (I can already run absolute max settings at 120+ fps), and I used a lot of those commands. I probably forgot to run the commands again to undo the changes lol. Ah well, I'll reset all that stuff later and see the effects in-game.
