According to the previous notes, yes but Blizz might remove it now they are giving back the single pet ranged option to MM. I just hope that MM gets to keep their pets, we are allowed to get to keep that node as well and that they won't remove it for the sake of distinguishing spec class fantasies.

The one pet option for BM is optional and it likely won't be changed. MM getting their pets back was due to the major backlash. There isn't such backlash for the one pet option for BM causing their one pet to be bigger.

A new glyph of greater proportion would be great, if we can have lesser proportion for people who want smaller pets, we should also have greater proportion for people who want larger pets, it would be perfect for larger races like orcs and Tauren, but in regards to the single pet talent for BM, it’s literally the same as the size increase for colossus arms/prot warriors

has anyone checked older rats on the PTR? doing my gnomes heritage line just now and noticed large leperous rats that are classed as beasts, are fairly large, and have "nice" models (if ur into that kind of thing) so I'm wondering if they might become tameable. would be kind of shitty to lock them to gnome hunters on that quest but maybe they would show up elsewhere in the world.

No, but I'm pretty sure they won't be. The models are much lower quality, but also something I was told suggested it was just the new ones.

I can also now confirm that the bomb crabs are definitely meant to be Mechanical, not Beast. I find this odd, because the model itself definitely makes them out to be hermit crabs using old bomb casings as shells (though the lit fuse does kind of contradict that), but there you go!

Aw, that's unfortunate that they are meant to be mechanical. That's as boring as when the shardhides were confirmed scalehides instead of a fun alien bear. Oh well, I'll still GLADLY use the bomb crab, but I'm still gonna be salty about it.

Say what! I had a gut feeling they would change, but I’m wrong, bomb crabs are gonna be my protectors with their defensive shield. It was also time for a new mechanical pet based off a new animal

There is still no confirmed release date, we are still early on the ptr phase of 11.1, most likely late February

I know for a fact that Wain mentioned that the panthara taming trick is getting removed, right now it's true, I don't know if it was changed today or on the last build. the talbuk meat grind is officially done forever, to prove I'm right again, the blood effects are not present

It was also included in the build notes for last week's build that the talbuk meat requirement was removed.

Radioactive rat was added, and tameable, to the latest ptr. It's up on a roof in The Vatworks, just above the OR in Vatworks. Need to get up on top of some buildings and do a mix of disengage, slowfall, and gliders to reach it. Unless there's a less convoluted way, anyway! Friend and I figured it out surprisingly fast, but not as fast as we did for George. The lag on the PTR was so frustrating though.

Oh my god I’m so happy that’s the variant I want. Glad it’s being added :)

So I was scoping out the Radioactive Subject and behind the building there's a bunch of white rats called Escaped Subject. That should be every rat skin available!
