Hot Take; for a fictional fantasy world, there's not enough fantastical beasts on Azeroth

Here me out: cats, dogs, wolves, etc, are a staple in a fantasy. However, hey shouldn't be the only beasts that exist in WoW. IMHO there should be more animals that doesn't exist in real life and in our mythology, Hydra is fine but why cant we have more beasts that doesn't even exist in our known universe and literature?

I feel that we need more Wild Talon from an Emerald Dream, more shovel tusks, more warp stalkers, more spore bats, more scale hides and fen striders, etc., give more beasts that are unique in wow that we could not find anywhere else. I *want* to tame a sea-rhino, sea monkeys, flying camels, flying monkeys (ok maybe this one from oz) and other things that WoW devs can imagine.

Make WoW a world where the animals are even weirder than Avatar's, where we can find Flying Bisons and Platypus-Bear.

I totally agree. I'd love to see kitsune, or more elemental inspired beasts like the phoenix and the magna-mammoths. I wish I had more time to draw up ideas

I know most mythical creatures are basically added in wow already, we could definitely use some wild Pegasus type creatures whether it’s a winged horse or they could go outside the box and make like a winged elk or a half spider serpent lizard creature. Since wow already has basilisks, wow could also use weird creatures like the cockatrice, a half chicken, dragon, snake creature, and I see some sort of giant jackalope making it into the game

That would have been miles better than the recolors of dreamrunners added to bastion, I also found a bunch of concepts that would have been amazing in game if added. There’s something about fantasy dinosaurs that I love, that raptor would have been really cool but they decided to put some Outland raptors in kalimdor and the lost isles. That turtle or whatever it is would of been awesome
