As you'd expect from a Goblin, though, the price is firm: there's no haggling this cost down, making it possibly one of the most expensive Hunter pets in the game.
Regarding it being one of the most expensive pets; it's the only pet you have to pay for (not including all the people who paid for their Amirdrassil carries, of course). This hurts me on a personal level too, because I suggested this very same concept back in Shadowlands lol. I'm sure others had the same idea at some point too, which is even more painful to think about. Wishing on the monkey's paw is never a good idea.

Really? Paying an exorbitant amount of gold for each toon to tame a pet never crossed my mind especially as something I would want in my almost 20 years of playing a hunter.

Next, there will be a pet shop where you can acquire rare pets for mega gold. I would rather have seen this be a challenge tame instead of being locked behind a bunch of gold.
