This is the saddle from the Uncorrupted voidwing mount in bfa. It’s the coolest looking dragon ever made in Wow, but the strangest saddle. The new voidwing is my second chance to get one and it has a better saddle

Oh well spotted! I didn’t remember that at all.

So it looks like this variant is actually an update of the original and the other saddles (which use ethereal art) are the new addition. I had assumed this saddle was the odd one out.

They load eventually, but very slowly. I’m investigating.

I do experience a few server related issues, but it doesn’t deteriorate the experience as long as I use WiFi, and now i have to use WiFi to browse the forums

I can see the banner, the promo, and the 12 month sub reward, but I can't see the void dragon.

only see the first two, not sabak and void

I've been also having image problems on other sites, might be some Chrome update?

Edit: now I see all four :?:

Seems like the voidwing saddle takes the longest to load. Petopia is in rough shape and I feel so bad

I've had to right click on the text and click on 'Reload Image' (I'm using Firefox, not sure if this is the same in other browsers) and then the image appears immediately, but until I do that they're just plain text placeholders.

Also on Firefox.

First two images show, Sabak Claim and Void Dragon odd Saddle are not visible. I tried to right click n the text to reload them and was not given the option.

Has been that way for a while now. I can sometimes get the images to load using right click-but I was never able to get the saddle images in the earlier posts to show.

Edit 1: right after I posted both images were visible to me. I wonder if it was because I had to log in to post. Let me see.

Edit 2: logged out and refreshed the page, all four images on page 9 were still visible. I clicked over to page 8 and the "This is a joke" image and "Saddle 2" were not visible, but their text was repeated with the first line in bold-I was able to right click and reload the images to see them. Previously on page 9 I did not see any bold text thus there was nothing there to right click and reload, just image name and post details.

Not sure if that helps?

Thanks! Yeah, it's like that for me, too. I can't work it out. The image it's refusing to show ever is the smallest!

Back on pet topics, we haven’t received any updates or hotfixes this week for different hunter pets and beast classifications. Korthia Razorwings still haven’t got flagged tameable and they still don’t have a ground attack animation, strange that the Grand wyvern has them made for Hunter pets in 11.0.7, but not razorwings considering they have the same skeleton and use the same grounded animations. Patch is literally releasing in a couple days, and my hopes are not too high, since it’s going to the actual client and more players are quick to report issues, hopefully that will work, same way as 8.3, when creatures were made tameable after release

This patch is already fairly bland before it even properly launches, and these pet issues are definitely a big detriment. Two days to go (plus the obligatory maintenance that takes way too long), and as stated, things just aren't in a state that should be considered okay to ship. The razorwings are by far the biggest issue though; they literally do share the same animations as wolfhawks, grand wyverns, and probably something else I'm forgetting, so how in the world have these things gone so long on the PTR without any fixes? Of all the issues, I feel that this one would be the easiest one to fix, even more so than flipping the tame flag on everything that has been overlooked. Let's hope the lurker dev remembers Petopia exists and checks the bug thread post-launch.

That being said, I'm not the only one disappointed, right? The pet selection is lacking despite such a good range of new looks, the fancy effects are limited to just two mobs (which I do love. I'm getting a Jawhead asap), tons of NPCs are still not tameable for some reason, and the patch in general almost feels as unfulfilling as Siren Isle despite the prominent presence of Xalatoes. Oh well, we have a whole new expansion to look forward to at least. I'm ready for the 12.0 beta!

Not talking hunter pets here, but overall - 11.2 seems very lean for a x.2 patch. It's weird to compare it with 10.2, which had Amirdrassil and the Dream. It's obvious that they've diverted most available staff to 12.0 and have only a skeleton crew working on it, which is probably why so many bugs are remaining unfixed. The content seems to have a larger than normal component of recycled assets - Tazavesh was dragged in, the whole 'Ecological Succession' concept seems to be designed around using as much old content as possible (and looks like it's pushing a dangerously ignorant idea of how ecological restoration works). Midnight better be really good out of the gate to justify this.

I'm sure the folks working on it are doing what they can, but it's clear they're understaffed.

Yeah this patch seems lacking compared to 10.2 which was probably the best of the .2 patches which actually had a good chunk of content. K’aresh also has some content but they don’t seem fun. I’ll just gear up so I can do the raid until the voidwing, aside from that there’s hardly any reason to play. Usually the new hunter pets bring me in, but I hope this patch will save my desire to play before midnight comes

I still don't know why we're doing most of what we're doing in this patch. Other than yknow... kill the big bad who's totally doin it for the greater good now.
One of the big selling points is making a zoo-conservation-biome thing.
But it seems like the embodiment of a redundant activity. It's not like the place can get regenerated. Do we know if the stuff we're bringing is going to be saved afterwards? I feel kind of bad bringing life into an area, that is destined to die.
Cos I mean, we aint ever going back there. Yknow? This is the first time it's felt. REALLY stupid. Like, REALLY! stupid.

K'arrocs gonna be my big catch for the patch.
Gon do my usual thing run into a swarm of them with no pets the one that kills me gets tamed.

But I'm gon keep an eye out for the battle pets more than regular this patch.
Here's hoping we get some fun pre patch critters eh?

There isn't really a swarm of K'arrocs. They are single mobs that fly very high up and can only be attacked in a few specific areas where there is a hill high enough to shoot one. Occasionally two might cross paths, but there aren't large groups of them that are attackable.

In regards to what has been said about K'aresh, spoilers below:

After we defeat Dimensius, and based on what happens in the new dungeon (which takes place after the raid), K'aresh's world soul (also named K'aresh) is able to reconnect to the planet and it starts to regenerate. There are places outside of the Eco-Domes that are able to sustain life.
