I found a mechanical crab in Mechagon . I can't find it listed anywhere and I am just seeing if anyone else has found it.

First thing's first; are you playing with Arachnophobia mode? Anything spiderlike will be given a crab form as a result, including the mechanical spiders.
EDIT: Yep, this is likely the case. I turned arachnophobia mode on, and found that Motospider (the smallest bunch) turns into this model.

I openly admit to finding bugs and exploits so they can be reported asap and get fixed. You might have seen some of the fun hunter pet side effects posted here in the past.
I will never share how to perform exploits. The only ones who know are those I personally trust to help get things fixed.

No worries, it's one of those "fire and forget" options. I was sitting here trying to figure out what mechanical you saw, then I just randomly remembered that we got an arachnophobia mode at the start of the expansion.
