Patch 11.2.5
Though there isn't likely to be a lot, if anything new, in this patch, I've gone ahead and made this thread just in case.

Re: Patch 11.2.5
We must push for Legion-themed pets, considering this is when we get Legion Remix. Green mana saber or bust, Blizzard!

Re: Patch 11.2.5
New hunter pets would be least likely in legion remix considering it’s redoing legion content on retail and with new rewards and only bronze currency. As for the starter pet for core races, most likely will be a legion nightsaber, legion worg, or a stag
The event would be a great time to make an eredari fel themed hunter

Re: Patch 11.2.5
I'm not sure if we'd get something like new pet tames in a Remix - if they were they'd be locked into the Remix 'phase' and existing characters wouldn't be able to tame them, only new hunters rolled for the event, and then the sources would disappear after it's over.

Re: Patch 11.2.5
Yeah, unless it is something added separate of Legion Remix, it wouldn't be a good idea to add any new pet that is tied to it.

Re: Patch 11.2.5
A few new models added in for mounts. The moose and the turkey are likely to remain as Trading Post mounts. The new Warp Stalker could potentially be used at some point for a normal mob.

Re: Patch 11.2.5
Looks like a teaser of a new warp stalker color for midnight, the turkey is cool and funny, tameable turkeys soon?

Re: Patch 11.2.5
OH MY GOD A TURKEY MOUNT
OH MY GOD A WHITE WARP STALKER
Can we skip 11.2 and just go right to 11.2.5? Please, Blizzard? PLEASE?!

Re: Patch 11.2.5
The new icy blue warpstalker skin definitely works on the wild model, too! It's such a gorgeous skin, hope they copy it over and allow us to tame it!

Re: Patch 11.2.5
It reminds me of the old white warp stalker, but the stripes are much lighter and the horn and spike colors are frosty blue which is cooler. Now I see midnight having some cold outlandish zone with a bunch of them in there, I hope purple and green is next

Re: Patch 11.2.5
The colours on that one are beautiful!
...I really wish I didn't feel so picky about that model, the front face area still really bothers me in shape but I should be grateful warp stalkers are getting new attention at all. While the texture resolution is of course better, the overall shape of that model just isn't consistent enough with what I fell in love with on the original warp stalkers.

Re: Patch 11.2.5
Not a hunter pet, but thought you might like to see there are three new pug colours in the 11.2.5 database:
I've been through all the unnamed textures for this patch and (beside the warp stalker) haven't found anything else that could be used on a wild beast. Even the wolf hawk skin is very much mount specific.

Re: Patch 11.2.5
Some of those new legion class order hall skins look cool, the Wolfhawk is basically similar to the fierce Wolfhawk, they just kept the same wing and feather color, changed up the fur, eye color, and the armor, a fel Wolfhawk hunter pet would of been neat and would pair well with lalathin. As for the pugs; they have cool colors, but only the black one is another real color. Other two would of been cool if they were real and part of normal pug gene pools
Re: Patch 11.2.5
Since pugs don't come in a lot of regular colours in the real world I guess they have to branch out into non-standard colours if they want more variants. But having said that: the orange one is close to the "apricot" coat colour which is recognised by some kennel clubs (though not the AKC). It's really just towards the reddish end of the fawn. The paler one is probably within the lighter range of a regular fawn pug, though the blue eyes aren't standard - it's more of a partial albino I guess.

Re: Patch 11.2.5
While not directly 11.2.5, Gamescom is gonna start soon, so we should keep an eye out for any fun things they bring up. Midnight's cinematic is coming, but there may be 11.2.5 talk at some point. I doubt we're getting any new pets before Midnight, but still worth watching just in case!

Re: Patch 11.2.5
Seeing as we did get a tamable stormrook, it is possible that there will be tamable Light and Void Dragonhawks:

It looks like, at least for these models, Dragonhawks have three pairs of wings rather than one pair.

Re: Patch 11.2.5
Six wings? I'll take it! Dragonhawks kind of looked fairly bland to begin with, but if this is a look at what we'll be getting with a new design? I'm all for it.

Agreed; i want more fantasy in my fantasy.WerebearGuy wrote: ↑Tue Aug 19, 2025 3:33 pm Six wings? I'll take it! Dragonhawks kind of looked fairly bland to begin with, but if this is a look at what we'll be getting with a new design? I'm all for it.

Re: Patch 11.2.5
Interesting. Razorwing animations were changed in this latest 11.2.5 build.
The broken combat animation, called "AttackUnarmed" was deleted. It's now missing from the model.
I wonder if that means the model will now revert to "FlyAttackUnarmed" (which does work!) for all attack situations, like if it were a pet.
I assume these changes are at least a step in the direction of making them tameable, if not fixing it entirely.

Hopefully so. I guess we'll see.
