Help Finding a Void Worm pet?

Hi. haven't been on here in a while, but started playing WoW again and saw a hunter with a cool worm pet I'd like to tame. I can't find it in the pet section of this site. It was a worm, but one of the models where it pops out of the ground and you only see half of it. It was purple and voidy with white glowy whiskers. Anyone know how I can tame it? I saw it on an alliance char, but couldn't grab a screen shot.

It may have been some kind of legacy tame, where a creature that wasn't meant to be tameable was for a short time. But I'm not sure.

If you're talking about the worm that has the skin kinda like https://www.wowhead.com/npc=224580/bloodcrust-behemoth, It was a short time tame. They are not available anymore. The people who got them got to keep them. They do that sometimes unless it's a baby pet.

A post on Reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/comments/1ny6mxq/) brought me here today, but the hunter on that post has tamed the Beloved Worm (https://www.wowhead.com/npc=225376/) which spawns during an achievement from the first raid of TWW. Theirs does not appear to be the Bloodcrust Behemoth, and they got it in the last couple of months, from the data I've seen. Maybe we can make a group and test out taming the one from that achievement, but you need 10 people afaik, to initiate the achievement.

It's not tameable; exploits aren't to be discussed on the Petopia forums I do have some insider knowledge that there was a slightly infamous occurrence with an item that's now been long-since hotfixed that allowed you to be hostile to anything if you took it out of the zone. That's all I'll say on it to respect Wain's rules.

I wouldn't think it'd be an exploit to try taming a mob that spawns during a boss fight. But, it sounds like you are saying it would have to be exploited to tame it, so fair enough. I have not tried the encounter with the additional worm NPC up so I wouldn't know, as it shows as tameable on Wowhead. Just wanted to clarify that the specific mob that's being seen around today, appears to be a different NPC than the one that was listed here.

No worries. You can poke around but I... know enough to know you wouldn't get very far with this line of thinking with that mob. Even if that mob was tameable, if it became public knowledge, Blizzard would just take it away. Heck, they took the original worms away, and those were walk-up-and-tame 'ems for the people who believed in them most, the Epic Edition players

For sure. Had one of those myself Was a sad day when they removed 'em, such a short lived tame. I just like the way they look halfway in the ground!
