Alot of bad gateways lately

I have such a hard time getting to the site now. Errors almost every time.

I am fine on the site from 8 am to 6:30 pm...CET
Weird it's so different. My connection to petopia always go haywire around 6:30 pm CET and last until i fall asleep but next morning at 8:30 ish am im good to go again. Bit slow but not a single 502 until 6:30 pm...

Thanks, I reported the routine / daily pattern of the disruptions. I, too, noticed they seemed to be happening around the same time at night (my time) while mostly being fine during my days.

I noticed the errors earlier but the site actually seems to be loading okay right now. So I hope it doesn't look like I was exaggerating

I hope it’s been stable for you folks for the past day or so. It has for me.

Our server owner implemented a system whereby it’s blocking subnets in real time if they appear to be becoming spammy. And it’s added a lot. So my guess is the problems we’ve been having are from when a subnet starts hitting us that wasn’t already on our list. And then we block it and things go back to normal. Hopefully that’s settling now

Super stable here had one litte short 503 hickup late last night but it was over under a minute

Sorry for necroing this a bit but for me at least, it looks like the 503 error is popping up a bit, generally when flipping through pages on threads. Dunno if that means anything, or if its just me but I wanted to give a heads up just in case.

That's worrying, but so far I haven't seen a single error in weeks and I've been using and reloading the sites a lot while I add new code and test things out.

But I'm curious if anyone else is having issues.

There was a stretch where I was seemingly blocked from the site yesterday for a brief period of time, so maybe that had something to do with it?

Maybe it's just on my end. Only other info I can add is that it happens both on mobile and pc, and there is a bit of lag on the site.

I just got the 503 error when opening this thread, ironically.

Quite a few of these tonight.
From 8:00 pm to 9:26 pm on and off. I had atleast 25 in that periode

Been getting periodic 503 errors today and yesterday, including around the time of this post (9:49pm BST). The site itself loads up fine, then I get an error when clicking on a forum and then a thread. Eg: the Midnight - Discussion forum and the Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread. After that it seems fine again.

The site had been running smoothly for me up until yesterday - got hit with the 502 Bad Gateway on the way in, but was able to navigate albeit slowly. Today as of this post give or take a few minutes every navigation click has been problematic. Sometimes it loads after a moment, often it's instant bad gateway block. Refreshing is the same.

I'm seeing it too. I contacted our server owner a day ago but haven't heard back yet.

I didn't hear back, but it seems like it's been stable all day for me. So, maybe he fixed something and didn't reply. Or maybe it's a coincidence. Either way, hopefully it stays that way!
