Do we *need* Florafaun Item *AND* Dinomancy Tome to tame the flaura direhorn?

We need Dinomancy tome to tame Direhorns.

We need Flaurafaun thingy to tame Flaurafaun.

There is a Flaurafaun Dire Horn.

Do we need both?

According to Valnaaros earlier in alpha, unfortunately yes, even though the requirement should be removed and work in a similar fashion similar to lesser dragonkin and cloud serpents, this is one of the first creatures that requires two skills, aside from the forgotten gryphon

Yes, both are needed. Though the Florafaun item is account-wide, so you don't need to worry about getting it on every hunter alt. Besides that, both are very easy to get. The Florafaun item has either a very high or guaranteed drop from rares in Harandar, and the Direhorn tome is very and quick to get.
