Every player currently has Recuperate, a spell that heals the player over time when out of combat. Some hunter pets have Rest, namely bears and rodents. This should be changed; Rest should be given to EVERY pet. It's a useful spell, it's full of flavor, and it's just a good form of parity.

I advocate for immersive features that will never happen. Why do I even bother?

I also do things in WoW that maaaaay not be fully intended. Beta testing live content!

Gotta wait for The Last Titan for that. Dragonflight came after Shadowlands, after all. But seconding that; don't forget Magmorax!

EDIT: If the newest alpha build is anything to go by... Score!

It would be absolutely lovely if all NPCs simply kept their names when tamed, rare or not. I sometimes go check on NPCs such as Guardian of the Spring and First Guardian of Kaliope, praying that one day they keep their name when tamed. It's still the sad case however that many NPCs still don't retain their name, and that makes the effort to hunt them feel pointless. There are many such NPCs who, despite having unique names, do not retain them when tamed, and that's sad. Since there are far too many examples to list, so I'd like to throw this out there; just let tamed NPCs keep their wild name when tamed. We can freely rename pets already, so it's not as if there would be any issue in that regard.

As always, sorry for my English level.

You see, every year I do a lot (and I mean A LOT) of Battle for Azeroth expeditions (because of my pet and transmog giveaway event on January 6th in my realm—by the way, you're all invited!—Shen'dralar Europe realm, around 5:30 PM in Stormwind xd).

And every year the same thing happens: it makes me really sad to see such cool rares in expeditions, and that 90% of them are untamable...

Every time I see Nok-arak <Warrior's Lament>, I cry.

And yes, I'm aware that there are two identical unnamed wolves in Zuldazar that can be tamed, but as a great Spanish singer once said, "No Es Lo Mismo / It's not the same" -> https://youtu.be/xNgTMDRoa60?t=36...

And it's not just him, but dozens and dozens of rares. While almost all models are tamable now, many have splendid and amazing names.

Crabs, bears, deer, and more (even wolves without bandages), all fantastic and all wasted potential.

I know it would be a huge undertaking, but it was done for wolves with cloth bands... I wish it could be extended to the rest. In fact, many already have assigned families and diets... it would just be a matter of changing the domestication flag and the name retention flag.
