returning hunter with white bear pet w/glowing paws

Hey all just like the post subject says. I'm a returning hunter player and found I have this white bear pet with glowing blue front paws! Pic in the attached file. Wondering which pet is this and where to tame a second so I have two out when switching to BM!

It's possible that you have an old glitch where you kept an aura effect after taming, which you can't do anymore. If you swap it to your Animal Companion slot, see if it retains the glow. If it does, then it's not an aura tame, but an actual effect tied to the model.If it doesn't keep the effect as a companion, then you most certainly can't tame another now.

Since it’s from WOTLK, it checks out that it was a glitch tame back when it could still be done (I have the Oil Stained Wolf with persistent oil aura from that expansion myself).

These kind of effects can no longer be retained when taming, so congrats! But beware! NEVER take this pet into Timewalking, Arenas, or Mythic+ instances. Those wipe all auras on all characters entering the instance, including pets! They will remove the glowing effect!

Your example does show that even when the bear model was updated to the modern version, it didn’t effect the persistent aura on it, so this good to know.
