Re: Patch 12.0.5
Taming the Voidsinged Hawkstrider is a pain lmao. People beeline to kill it because it's an elite, and elites (probably?) give more percent towards the objective. Got mine though, so I'm content. One more shiny bird for the collection. Definitely don't do it right after server reset though, too many people lol

I openly admit to finding bugs and exploits so they can be reported asap and get fixed. You might have seen some of the fun hunter pet side effects posted here in the past.
I will never share how to perform exploits. The only ones who know are those I personally trust to help get things fixed.

Re: Patch 12.0.5
Congrats. I’m not taming it myself but something about saddles gives me pet peeves for hunter pets. Way back then I loved them but now I don’t add them to my collection, I’m ok with bits of armor around the body but not saddles. If the strider was unsaddled I would totally tame it
Re: Patch 12.0.5
Where in particular in the Tranquil Repose does it spawn? Do we know? I'd like to be in the general area when that event starts.WerebearGuy wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2026 11:42 am Taming the Voidsinged Hawkstrider is a pain lmao. Re: Patch 12.0.5
There is one that runs around the southern edge of the event and one in the north/northeastern part of the event. Honestly, the best way to guarantee taming one is just to wait where the event is. Flying around and joining in doing other events and then trying to race to the one with the hawkstrider will not give the best chances.Boven wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2026 4:03 pmWhere in particular in the Tranquil Repose does it spawn? Re: Patch 12.0.5
I was able tame one yesterday evening. Fortunately, at that time, there weren't many folk there, so I didn't have any issues. I noticed that they hawkstrider spawn repeatedly as the event goes on.
Re: Patch 12.0.5
If you really want one, then what Val said... this event seems to be a bit more frequent than a lot of void strikes, so if you wait in the area it's going to pop there eventually and you can get it quickly.
I'm just thankful the pale warp stalkers were expanded! They were set to be a nightmare originally: a very few NPCs in a rarely-occurring strike.
