New Pets in Forever (Spoilers)

At least looking at the Database, there are a few interesting NPCs that either give color variants that weren't originally available in Vanilla or have a unique appearance

Turtles: Krek the Noxious (green gas effect)
Tallstriders: Moonstrider and Giant Moonstrider (purple tallstrider)
Wolves: Old Rusthowl and Old Ironfang (Brown & Grey worg)
Crocolisks: Ghostmaw (potentially a ghost crocolisk)
Crabs: Methuselah Crab (obsidian crab with red sapphire on its back),
Cats: Ombassa (another source of the black lion variant), Ta'shkal "Escaped Experiment" (green & orange cat variant)
Carrion Birds: Bloodshrike (bald eagle model)
Bird of Prey: Marsh Owl (uses the purple owl variant)
Bear: Tainted Bramblepaw (uses the sickly white variant)

I don't have a screenshot of it but i ran into a hunter in teldrassil with an owl with the model of HellHoot stating that its a new rare that spawns outside the gates of darnassus. Will update if i see him again.
EDIT: His name is Nightscreech and is a rare that spawns in teldarassil across the road from the leatherworking trainer near darnassus. Shares the same model as Hellhoot in winterspring. Looks to be about a 1-2 hour spawn timer.

Blue cat in the game confirmed, called Ghostfang. No abilities, tamable at level 10

He can be found at locations 74, 64, 80, 46, 79, 43, and 82, 55 on top of the hill. There might be other locations he spawns in at, but I can confirm these locations myself. In the three locations, he was behind specifically the larger trees.

I can also confirm that his respawn timer is 30 minutes.

I wouldn't hold my breath for Nightscreech... I waited 9 hours consecutively yesterday, and 5 hours today and I've not seen him in any of the two spots it can appear yet.
Only positive is I'm now 125 skinning and leveled from 12 to 14 killing stuff around the spawn points.

Someone said they saw Coldrasp about 3 hours ago and I'm camping out waiting. Hoping I don't get force sharded and ruin my time count.

I ran across a hunter in Forever with a pet that looked like one of the Slyverns from Dragonflight. Either it was a wolf, or she named it 'Wolf.' Unfortunately, she logged out before i could ask her about it. I'm wondering if it was some graphics glitch or if there's actually one somewhere in Forever that can be tamed.

It might be the fox-birds from the Skyborn areas. They look like Slyverns, but are labeled as foxes or in one case, wolf.

It's probably Vulgara the Insatiable, an elite slyvern on Zephras Isle that's the objective of a level nine wanted quest.

Can confirm this is the mob. I ran around taming slyverns because they were bugged and I couldn't train any of them. I was coincidentally in the area with this elite Slyvern and was able to tame her before someone ran up to kill her. She's coded as a wolf and is trainable. She also seems to use the wolf noises as opposed to the fox noises.

I'm kind of hoping it's intended because I really enjoyed running around with her, haha.

Attached are all the Skyborne-themed beast models. Same range of four colours for each - a design philosophy similar to the Coiled Isle creatures.

Which models have you found at least one creature for? Any you have not? I know the owlbears seem to be mostly supplanted by that Emerald Dream model, for some reason, but I hope they do add some.

I'm still working out the logistics of adding these to our database without having to create a whole separate Forever site (for now). Once I do I'll add a reference page for them all.

Also note: The owlbear model seems to be either encrypted or missing at the moment, but its textures are visible, so I placed them on the Druid model (which should be pretty close in appearance to any wild form).

There's a horned variant of the raptor bird model, but I'm pretty sure that's the Druid form so I omitted it for now.

Hey Sorry, I've been gone all weekend and just got home. Catching up on things.

For this photo grouping, I've managed to find tames fitting (right to left), 3, 4, 10, 11, 12.

Yep, should be intended! I was able to tame several colours of slyvern (red, brown, black.) Interestingly, some were noted as "fox" and the one you saw was noted as "wolf"

Was away for the weekend, but I've returned and hope to hunt for some more creatures for the list. Thank you all for posting your findings, it's very helpful!! It looks like we're going to have some fun new pets
