Did you happen to notice whether or not this wolf had an ability in its spell book to reflect it turning into a ghost wolf? Cold it be a new wolf ability?

I was going to say that it didn't have it on the pet bar, but I might have overlooked it... and I didn't even look at the skill book...

I'll go back and tame another to see.

Also, check to see (if its not in the spell book) if it still does this effect while tamed when its health gets to whatever %% it changes at. Just in case.

Nope, it has the same skills as any other wolf when tamed.

I think these puppies could prove very interesting. Can someone go check if they transform at a set percentage? Or would someone mind grabbing a buddy and trying the Garwhal "damage the mob right as the tame ends and force transformation then" trick?

EDIT: I was thinking about this last night... If this trick works, It could very well be Blizzard's apology for taking both Garwhal (if we have to do aforementioned trick) and the ghost wolf (...duh) away from hunters.

Got some pictures of the Ghostpaw Runner while it was attacking me. It's doing an Arcane Explosion ever few seconds. The other pic is of it reverting back to normal (cool animation). I used him a bit seeing if it would keep the ghost attack, but I couldn't get it to return to that form, though he also never got low on health. There are no special spells in my pet spell book after taming him either.
