Beast you want to be able to be tamed

Wyverns! I'd love to be able to tame a Wyvern.

Thunder lizards, thunder lizards and um...hmm....ah yes, thunder lizards. I also think basilisks might be kind of neat, as well as pterrodaxes (probably butchered that) and the dimetradons (butchered that, too). Heck, why not just say that all reptile/dinosaur models should be tameable! But I want thunder lizards the most. As long as they don't make that annoying stomping sound. But even then, I think I'd put up with it just to have a thunder lizard.

Oh and the python models as well, especially the red/white variety. They look like my corn snake Blaze.

Going by their previous expansions, and with the "introduced" new pets out now, I'm either gonna like half of them or more then half of them. I'm currently not impressed with most of the new Tameables. I'm really, really hoping Blizzard still haven't released the majority of all-new Tameables just yet.

I always thought it would be weird too. I could see a wolf, or cat, or hyena, or basically everything else actually making sense by your side. Good "attack" animals. But "GO KILLER DEER! SICK 'EM!" That just doesn't sound right to me. Especially now that pet damage sounds like it will probably be equalized. I'm having trouble picturing the new monkeys doing equal damage to, let's say, a big scary croc. I'm all about fantasy being non-realistic, but it stills seems like a little bit too much of a leap. Just my two cents. I'm sure I'll probably tame one anyway.

Also, "The Stag Train." That should totally be a band.

Hey, don't underestimate a fully grown adult male. That's 400 lbs of pure muscle, and armed as well. They can seriously mess you up between hooves and antlers. I used to work in a hunting store. No one wants to go up against an angry or territorial stag, trust me. xD Especially during rutting season where they're just itching for a fight and to protect the does.

I'd like mammoths a lot more if I could get past the jaggedness of their fur. The whole model seems so smooth, then you get to the hanging fur and it's just.. bleh.

And I know what you mean about the Elekk model. It doesn't even have ears!

Hippogryphs
Wyverns
Gryphons
Mana Wyrms (especially the ones found in Northrend - so pretty!)
Hydras (although I'd like Blizzard to update some of the models to make them more realistic looking)
Sprite Darters/Faerie Dragons (technically they're more beast-like than dragonkin imo)
Clefthooves, Thunder Lizards, and Elekks (could be placed with the Rhino family)
Zhevras
... and I'd definitely be in favor of Blizzard smoothing out the textures of some beasts that have been around since vanilla (I don't want them to go overboard and completely change the looks, I'd just like them more updated is all).

stuff i dont want but should be the flying dinosaurs in ungro crater, the dimat whatevers and basalisks both pritty much look the same, and silithid wasps... appart from that nothing in current wow

I raid a lot so I'm always bothered by the wolf skins; none of them have grown on me. I always wonder why this blue darling wasn't a beast like its red counterpart. The red ones are 'beasts' and the blue ones are 'demons' :/

I'm thrilled that we're getting doggies and foxes in Cata but I still wish we had more to choose from. I'm sure other people will disagree, but personally I don't think any of the current wolf skins look good. The old school small wolves aren't too bad but after a while they just looked like a rat to me; their faces seem kind of weaselly. The Old Cliff Jumper style worgs are really awkwardly bulky in front and run strange I think, though I think they are pretty cute otherwise. The northrend wolves are the ones I have used the most, but I hate how deranged they look. They look anorexic, and their feet bend backwards; it is very strange to me, but they look pretty cool otherwise, and I always like a pet that stays kind of big. The demon dogs aren't too terrible and I wouldn't mind them being small; it's kind of like having a little puppy at your side, but they made their faces look so evil and put too many weird symbols on them, that they end up just being a little creepy to me. I suppose the armored Shattered Halls version of the Cliff Jumper skinned Worg isn't too bad, but it has the same issues... just not as noticeable.

I'm sure some of you adore some of these skins and I'm happy for you that you do! It is just my opinion. But seeing how everyone who raids needs a good wolf most of the time I am really sad that they didn't either have more variety or make one that doesn't have some of the characteristics that turn me off so much listed above ><

P.S. Do ALL northrend worgs change color or is there somewhere I can get a white one that stays white? I haven't been able to figure this out yet

P.P.S. The Bullmastiffs are nice, but how about a big Great Dane? I'm tired of the small pets, we are all big boy and girl hunters now, we should get some more impressive pets

This NPC in Coldarra is a dragonkin Arcane Serpent pink or same model Spirit of the North white. but it is so nice, I hope change it to beast and tamable.
