There isn,t enough pets to tame... plus there all still old pets.. most of them that weren`t tamble... just sad.. was hoping they add atleast 50 new unquie looks.. something we havent seen before ...

And if I remember right, someone reported Stags and Snakes now had diets when Beast Lore'd. Snakes of the Python model, not using the naga build model like serpents/worms do.

Blizz also said Zehvra's may/will become tameable. Meaning more pet families/species could open up.

I'm still disappointed that they haven't put a smaller tameable version of Gluth out there. I had even suggested making it a quest chain that would involve going all over the world gathering the parts and serums for one of the Apocatheries in UC to create it for you.

Also, not all of the higher end zone's are open yet. The level cap just hit 83.

Blizzard also said themselves they haven't even done a pass over the pets yet. I have a feeling a lot of new pet announcements will be coming towards the end of beta.

I too am not all that "epically impressed" with the new Tameables. And yeah, totally Vephriel (I remember that too). I'm excited about that.

If I were a betting woman, I'd say the outland raptor models in Azeroth are just a place holder for those spiky ones we saw in the design sketches. Don't forget that dodo bird either, it hasn't been implemented yet. There are also new dinosaurs form the sketches we've yet to see. I think the Beta goes Zones>Quests>NPCs>Mobs. We're not at the end just yet.

I wonder if Dodos would use the Tallstrider animations, or if they'd have some new ones.

Fun fact: Dodos were actually pretty large, fairly intelligent, and rather mean birds. And completely inedible to humans, their flesh was very coarse and filled with fat deposits. Rats, pigs and cats were responsible for their extinction by eating the eggs and young dodos.

@ Vephriel I hope so or i be very upset... i like the green tiger that isn,t tamble i forgot the name but im hoping they add more colors features to the pets so you can sorta pick different colors unquie even like rare spawn can become unquie colors and make hunters wait even more lolz but then again probly anonny every1 farming them :O And @ Vephriel I LOVE YOUR DINO!!!!!! its so sexy:D wish that was in the game to tame

Eh,Blizzcon is like an early,early beta...nothing they say there has ever made me "gasp! omgbbqwtf!!!!!1!!!"....so I'll continue to wait and see.

up in Netherstorm. Good hunting!

yeah Karathyriel blizzcon is basicly a beta for it you have to wait and see. I mean who knows some of that stuff might not of worked in game but worked on paper so they had to change them. did you ever think of that? Jezz it seems noone ever does

Ummm...but if they add to many new pets/skins to tame we'd be right back where we are now, to many pets, not enough stables slots...Really look at just how many pets we currently have to tame. 32 pet families, about 230 petskins (not including cata pets) and you're upset that they haven't added more? What other class has this many choices?

Really, I am surprised Warlocks arent complaining that they dont get this many choices for minions, even with enslave demon, there really arent as many unique demon skins!

On another note, I'd like to see some of the current beast skins tamable just because I am not a fan of some of the already tamable skins, but it'd be more like gravy rather then the meal. I can happily live without...but gravys always nice.

Yeah...I'm sure that everything hasn't been introduced yet. But, imo the pets so far, new warpstalkers, foxes, mastiffs, and the like are pretty awesome, albeit it'd be cool if there were more....Don't count it out just yet, it's still beta, there are still lots of new things out there they have yet to do.

Bah. It's EARLY beta. It's not even just 'beta', it's only been open for what... two weeks? Three-ish? Stuff is full of placeholders, and frankly, what's more, I'm PRETTY sure Blizzard is focused on more important things like, oh.... making sure the classes work. Making sure the talents work. You know, the reasons why the other seven classes play this game. Pets are going to be last on the list unless someone somewhere gets some free time and can make a pass over them. Which, by the way, they've even -stated- they haven't done yet. Some of the bits and pieces have shown up already, and that's cool, but getting all cranky and sullen because they haven't made (insert pet family here) tamable or redesigned every family is ridiculous.

Don't get me wrong, I still want hydrae and basilisks. Am I having a fit because OMFG THEY AREN'T TAMABLE WTF NOT ALL NEW SKINS YET WTF OMG BBQ.... ...no. Of course not. I also want them to finish the complete overhaul they're doing to the other classes I'm playing. In addition, so far, they've added in a lot of skins that people -have- been asking for like the silver fire scorpions and the two headed green vultures. There's new crabs, new "wolves" (though I'm still holding out they un-demon the darkhounds), and they've been amazingly conscientious about keeping old skins from vanishing. It would've been much easier for them to just say 'oh well no more purpleyenas', but they transferred them to Tanaris. Or even Araga... a skin that is, frankly, a bug and I'm surprised they're making any effort to do anything but 'fix' her into a normal mountain lion.

On top of that, the entire mechanic for pets is changing and hasn't been implemented yet. Gone are the days of Furious Howl, or Demoralizing Screech, or whatever family ability made such and such pet the uber must have. They haven't even gotten to that yet. Personally, I'm looking forward to filling my stable with what will amount to more of the 'old' skins that I haven't been able to collect due to the forced necessity of keeping certain pets and being unable to go over my limit of five. You better believe one of those green buzzards will be MINE as soon as that goes live. Mmmm.... Torgos....

I count 24 unique looks in the current cat family alone. 25 slots? nowhere near enough for me!

(yes, I am just crazy enough to dedicate a hunter alt to specifically tame every "skin" in a family!)

I Got everything i wanted just all other pets are ugly and old... i rather see something new something suprised and ...maybe get something that glows and new moves like something unquie powers more fun etc.. i guesss but who knows... i was hoping see green tiger or something or new pets we havent got in the family.
