Inscription Owl, I guess?

Dreamed about this owl. He's made of parchment, which reminds me of Inscription. So yeah, he's an Inscription Owl, I guess. A mount or something. Yes, there's a book on his head, with an eye on it. That's because he's usually a book, he can turn into an owl, although when he dies (is burned or destroyed) he can be remade with... blah blah blah... *rambles endlessly*

Colored version in the works, so he doesn't look like he's made of toilet paper.

Ooh, neat! It comes across as very Egyptian to me, or like something we could see in the new Uldum instance. :) Great job on the wing symmetry, that can be hard to do. ^^

Great job on the wing symmetry, that can be hard to do. ^^
I'm glad you think it's symmetrical.. It's still bothering me when I look at it. "Oh gods! That feather is a bit longer then the one on the other side! Gaaahhh!"

And don't get me started on the twisted feathers! Oh!

Color! Okay, shabby, not-particularly-detailed color, but color none the less. The runes, if it's not completely obvious, are nonsense scribbles. The word on the book is "Lore" which is the name of the owl.

Razz- When I drew this, I looked at that picture for beak shape. I'm not quite sure how they ended up looking so similar - it must have stuck in my mind and impacted what my drawing ended up looking like.
