Possible news about the Turquoise Scorpids in The Barrens?

As some of you probably know there's been no sign of the blue/green scorpids that were unique to the Field of Giants in The Barrens.

I was going around the WoWhead Cataclysm site and stumbled upon what seems to be 2 brand new quests (one for each faction it seems).

Silithissues

The silithid! They're bugs, <name>. Or something like bugs. They're not natural... and we built a fortress on the equivalent of an anthill.

Take this burning pitch. It'll set the buggers on fire and plug up their burrows at the same time. Be careful when you pour this stuff on there - the silithid will come out in swarms!

Look for silithid mounds around the exterior of Desolation Hold. They look like heaps of sand. Kill anything that crawls out.

Linked as an objective to this quest is the Silithid Swarmers: blue Scorpids! It sounds like they may indeed still exist under this new fortress, however they're spawned from the quest. If anyone in Beta could check this out that would be awesome. Not sure if these spawned mobs would be tameable, but at least there's some hope!

Alliance side this is all that comes out at the moment. Not scorpids right now. :/

Darn. >< Right now Silithid Swarmer means the blue scorpids in live realms. Ah well, it was worth a shot. x)

I didn't turn it in, though, so I can always check back closer to release to see if they've changed them! There's always time.

Very true. Perhaps throw a beast lore on them regardless, just to check. ^^ Always thought it would be cool if they expanded the Silithid family to have different types of silithids, including the spidery ones, beetles, etc, etc.

Mmm. So much luck yet, I thought to check to see if they were confused little things that thought they were pets... No such luck there, either :/
