A New Wolf?

Unread post by Ungoro »

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_E2nedI ... eature=sub

Just watching Jesse's questing in Mt Hyjal and it looks like theres a new black wolf...And to me, it looked ghostly! A ghostly black wolf, so it has a transparency to it. He plays a shaman so he isn't able to beast lore it, so it's possible we have a new tameable wolf.

Anyone in beta able to confirm if it's tameable?

Edit: The time this wolf makes its appearance is around 6:30.

Interesting. I kinda doubt it will be since it's a god, but a see thru black wolf with red eyes would be fun!

I doubt it's a real god- or atleast, I doubt it's a god of tameable wolves and such.

http://www.wowwiki.com/Spirit_Wolf_%28Warcraft_III%29

It resembles that spirit wolf and;
The spirit wolf is a flickering, almost translucent, black wolf. A faint glow emanates from its body. According to orc shamans, spirit wolves prowl the spirit realms, always hunting and killing. Shaman summon spirit wolves to act as invisible trackers and stalkers, and deadly allies in battle. Spirit wolves are canny combatants, teleporting around the battlefield and making stealthy, invisible attacks when their foes are most vulnerable.[1]
I think it's a spirit wolf.

Think you misunderstood me- I'm not saying it isn't a wolf god or is, I'm just saying with how blizzard colored it, it made me think of the WC spirit wolf sprites/description.

Which I honestly was hoping for, a twisted version, over Blizzard deciding 'lolz lets make it red and black cause that signifies evil!' .-.

Pretty ghost beasty, it'd be lovely if it was tameable but i doubt it. Great first look at Goldrinn too. Thanks for posting!

Ahhh, It's a tainted, twisted, and alternative form of Goldrinn. Not the actual one. Thank goodness, I'd hate to kill an Ancient One.

Goldrinn is dead anyway so it would be a bit hard to kill him!

The Bear twins were supposedly dead, But they came back in LK, AND these guys feared the RETURN of Goldrinn, so who's to say an Ancient Demigod can't come back?

I'm happy to see Goldrinn! I do hope he gets a more interesting skin though I still remember Ursoc received no special treatment. It makes me hopeful for an appearance by Malorne.

I'm hopeful to see all of the Ancient Ones, as well as the Loa, and the Old Gods... Maybe not all in Cata, but in expacs to come.
