Spectral Safari Coming to You This July!

This July 24th and 25th, come join the hunt for the greatest game of them all. Cryptozoic Entertainment, home of the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game, will release a streak of Spectral Tigers into the wild. If you want to bag and tag one of these elusive mounts, join the party with fellow World of Warcraft TCG fans at a Spectral Safari near you.

A tournament friendly to players of all experience levels, the Spectral Safari participants will receive—at random—one of the 18 Class Starter Decks and compete in a tournament with that deck. The first 25 players to register for the event will pocket a Landro’s Pet Box code. Players who do well will earn Wrath Gate booster packs, and the winner picks up a Blazing Hippogryph Loot card. The Spectral Tiger will be randomly won as a door prize at the end of the event, so every entrant has an equal opportunity to ride home in style!

It's actually being held in US, Canada, Europe and Asia/Oceania...

Sadly, closest place to me is about 8 hours away.

Ooooooh! I want one! Surprisingly they're in Europe and even more surprisingly there's one pretty damn close to me! Approx. 1hr 26mins...I might actually have to try this! More for my collection would be so extremely happy and if I actually won stuff I might just get over the fact that my mate picked up a Red Qiraji Battle mount last night...

Edit: Holy cow! There's one even closer than that! According to google maps one of the locations this thing is going down at is actually in my home town!..If it's correct, it would only be a 9 mins drive! I have never ever had anything this awesome so close to where I live before! The closest thing like this is I can remember is when I went to watch a Pokémon movie years and years ago (Before I was even 10) to get promo edition Dragonite Pokémon card! But that's only if google maps is correct though...

So wait. You mean instead of being given an item that may contain the spectral tiger card, it's a random draw? That probably will have like a shitload of people?

Mean as motivated as paying 300 bucks for the hippogriff hatchling.

I'd rather spend 20$ for sure for a mount for all than fail miserably in a TCG game, or pay 15x the celestial steed aurg.

What the- ... NOOOO! The thing is in Ropecon! And there's no way I'm getting there! ;___; It's the only way to get those in Finland, too.

Also apparently you'll have to participate in the tournament to have a chance to get the mount.. I have a friend who's going there, but she's never even played WoW, let alone the TCG. <.<

I have huge piles of cards, but have never read into the rules. XD Only wasted my dear money in hopes of getting a mount or a pet. Guess what I have? A single Spectral Tiger sandbox toy. :P

Edit: Hmm, looks like I'll have a shot at participating after all... If (and that's a big if) I manage to get there with my anxiety disorder, I should be able to take part and make a total fool out of myself. XD

Haha, same. XD There's an awesome demo over here. Watched the whole thing through but still am not completely getting it. <.< Ah well, will just play around with my little card collection for the next few days.

Will see if I can put together a deck of my own, even though I won't be able to use it at the safari. Hunter deck incoming!

Edit: Wut, I don't have a single BM Hunter? *cry* Drawer almost full of cards and not one BM Hunter Hero. :( Guess I'll just have to settle with something else.

I'm kinda with Ryai on this one. The chances of getting something are pretty darned low, and I have better ways of spending my weekends than with a bunch of sweaty people clamoring over cards. (Trust me, those places can get smelly, I've been to several tournaments of all kinds and they are never pleasant )

I do, however, wish Blizz would release a Shop mount that I actually like.
