I think that's staying; there was a blue post somewhere that made an oblique reference to cat form coming before bear now....and bear is still 10.

Ariamodasu told me Cat form is evidently a lv 8 skill. And honestly, about god damn time. I'm tired of lowbies coming in as DPS, and trying to either A: melee, in caster. Or b: DPS in bear.

And sometimes later some druids actually think They can DPS in dungeons as Bear

I think for the talent tree they should have bear form as the level 10 feral spec spell, boomkin form as the level 10 balance spec spell, and tree form as the level 10 regeneration spec spell. That would make my day :)

Meh, as long as they keep the quests. As long and Tedious as they were, it certainly made me feel like I earned something. And They were interesting Druid-Lore quests

Oh, that's good. I usually get stuck on Druid leveling right about level 20. I work so hard to get myself to cat form I burn myself out and get bored right after I achieve it. Getting it early will probably help immensely.

Unfortunately, I don't think that'll be the case. Contemporary Blizzard's tendency towards laziness means they don't really care to make class-specific quests anymore.

Yah, the latest class-specific quests are the DK starter ones, and if you don't count those, the Swift Flightform one. Or wait... Quel'Delar is kind of class-specific. Classes that can't use swords get sent to fetch maces and stuff instead.

Blizz said they want classes to get their fun/core abilities earlier now, which makes sense to me. People roll druid to be able to shapeshift, so why not let them do it from the start?

Makes sense. Druids below twenty are a pain right now, so getting cat earlier should help quite a bit. Bearform won't be needed until you can start doing randoms, so it makes sense to get it at 15.

I like the change! I wish there was a bit more lore for Cat-Form, but I won't complain too much! :D

It would be nice if they added a quest in there for cat instead of just getting it. It could take you out to Moonglade and actually have you talk with the Spirit Cat that has been so lonely and purposeless for all these years. :\
