Okay, second challenge!
For Taigi's pet challenge I also needed to free up a slot. I let Owakeri, my blue-black carrion bird, go free outside of Undercity. He can help protect the undead borders and there's probably more to eat there than at Descolace.
Next I headed up to the Hinterlands to tame a Silvermane Stalker. I used to love how these guys stealthed (even if it hurt a LOT in the 40's when you wandered into half a dozen by accident) so I figured I'd go with this version of the skin.

I named him Jinsoku, after a wolf character of mine from my worldbuilding. He eats meat, which is what most of my stable eats, so no inconvenience there. I'm not terribly fond of the worg skin as a whole, mostly because of how they walk. I prefer the old-world wolves first, and the Northrend worgs more than the old-world worgs (at least they're spiky). But I'll give this guy a shot.

I'm not terribly fond of his run and walk animations. His swim is kinda awkward too; he only seems to move his paws when he doggie paddles, not the rest of his legs. His emotes are fairly cute though (more like a dog than a wolf) and I actually enjoy most of the noises he makes. His color matches my tauren, who is black-furred with white spots, which I do like, and he has pretty steel-ish eyes.
Taigi's not 80 yet so I can't do heroics, but I did run a regular instance--Nexus. He did alright and went up to 70 here, so I guess I leveled him some too. I didn't really notice a dramatic increase in my dps, but as it's changing constantly every time I get new gear or level this really doesn't mean anything. No complaints from others about him, obviously, since he's a wolf and thus THE standard running pet.
Did some Kalu'ak dalies with him as well. He holds aggro kinda badly, but considering he's a lower level than I am, that's only to be expected. I did not learn anything especially huntery from him, since I've been using mostly ferocity pets since I started with the class.
He does take some lovely photos and looks nice in several settings. I did have fun thinking of places to screenshot him. His color does change slightly depending on where he is; his undercoat looks grayer in certain lightings.

Overall though, this just isn't the pet for me. I might consider another wolf family skin at some point (maybe one of the old world skins) as they seem to go very well with tauren, but it definitely won't be this guy.
Anyway, Taigi'll take one more challenge! She's still 72 and still BM, lol. Again, her pets are an outlands raptor, the blue/green serpent, the color changing ravager, and Humar the Pridelord.
