Well poo, have played with him for awhile and he has lost all his good abilities , he just does normal fox/wolf attacks now that he's tamed.

After watching him jump around and fade during taming, yes I was hopeing anyway, why not keep the ablilites? They are sweet, would be nice to use on PVP You could get dizzy fighting him hehhe

So... has anyone else had the issue of this little ninja-fox actually ninja-ing OUT of your stables? Twice now I've tamed him and logged out only to discover that he is no longer my pet!

Have you checked if he's hiding under another pet? That happens every now and then on live, could be worse on beta.

Yes, I've tamed him about 5 times now and he won't stay and today when I loged on, I have like 6 missing that I have tamed, was doing a test if you fill the stable up, it might open up a tab to BUY MORE SLOTS hehehehehe, well it did't but still have like 6 empty slots now that were filled yesterday.

I've had pets stack. I've been running around with nothing in active stable but whatever single pet I pick up on taming spree. Pick up a bone spider, call pet, and there's the wind serpent I never abandoned. Oh well. Likely frakked up my stables.

Check out stables and spidey is there in second slot. Huh. Oh well. He's still around.

Also, it could be you guys are getting pets from unfinished zones. When your map looks all weird and strange, instead of the normal map you see, it means you're in a zone that is not done and shouldn't be messed with yet. Loch Modan, where this fox is, is an unfinished zone, hence why it could be disappearing. Blizz is messing with the fox itself, and your fox gets messed with as well.

Logical yea, I know it's not finished, but was hopeing to catch a good tame of him staying ninjawolf before it's nerf'd The other test I was wanting to do is tame a normal wolf around there and then have it attack Ashtail, see if he uses them tactics on my wolf, same as he does when being tamed.

Get a warp stalker.

Pets generally don't keep their special abilities when tamed.

Just to confirm that he does indeed appear to be classed as rare. I tamed him today, and he had the silver dragon around his portrait.

Found a number of rares in Loch Modan today - some new, some old (or with new skins!).

Looks like foxes have that same uniboob graphic issue that hyenas have. ><
