Mounts you can't stand but want anyway

The brewfest Kodo. Not only does it lack any originality and so closely resemble the originals its hard to even tell it apart from them,but kodos over all just look really depressed to me and feel slower. Though I'd still role on it if it dropped for my ally main, I was lucky enough to get on eon my blood elf hunter,but he got the awesome goat so he uses that. I love me some goats.

Hmm, while kodos are not my favorite, I'll always have a fondness for them, as my first character (and still one of my mains) was a tauren. So much kodo hate ;_;

But, on topic... I'd have to say that stupid sea turtle. I think the turtle mounts in-game are rather ugly, but I think it'd be so cool to have a swimming mount. That, and I actually DID fish it up once, but accidentally closed the loot window, so yeah... that damn turtle will be mine one day.

Not really a huge fan of kodos, I wish they had more colors besides gray, slightly lighter gray, and brown.

The celestial steed is EVERYWHERE. I think it's pretty, but I don't want to buy one until the fad goes down, y'know?

I used to dislike the NE cats for the same reason. EVERYONE would take the Darnassus grind just to get a kitty, they were so uncommon. I'm neutral about'em now though, but I'm still considering that winter saber grind just for a slightly less common kitty mount.

It was Baron mount for me. It was my birthday, and I was running Strath for cloth. I hate how the horse looked. Loathed it. So, I'm getting cloth, la di da. "Hi there, Mr. Baron. Don't drop your horse, I hate it."

"You receive loot: "Baron horse. HAHAHAHAH! SUCKER!"

I love the guy now, though. My joke is he was WoW's present to me. See? Blizz and RNG aren't THAT bad. xD

Hmmm maybe i should try that. I have killed the baron multiple times to get the mount and he just won't drop it.

I don't really like the hawkstriders (but i still bought them all ><)

I hate riding the raptors the most. The bouncing makes me sick after a while.

The early rocket mounts.. yeah, ugly, would never ride one. The new one, however, is pretty cool, esp if you are an engineer.

The celestial steed? I would only have that on a female BE or Draenai.

The race/gender has a lot to do with it. As I'm a male Dreanai, I'm sick of large mounts that "fit right" but getting stuck in doorways (on almost any mount) and small mounts that look just silly with my large toon. I'm seriously considering an engineering accident to change me to a dwarf.

ANY of the mammoths, they're awful. So bulky and the way they run, yuck. But...achievements...

The face on the Onyxian Drake...the mount itself is beautiful, but the face looks awful. >.<

And the Fiery Warhorse. The Horse is amazing, but what were they thinking with those buck-toothed fangs?!

Mammoths is about it, or a kodo if you were lucky to get one.

Hence part of the reason to consider the racial change.

But.. I do think a dwarven engineer hunter would look cool in Mimron's head.

Well strangly enough, I am an engineer, and I do have the early rocket mount.

I prefer it much more then the new rocket though...

• a) Its red, as all good rockets should be!
  b) It's much wider than the new one which looks awful skinny and a little uncomfortable....
  c) It has a big target cross hair on the front that looks like my hunters mark icon "lock and load" .

Back on track of the thread however... I still want one of the new rocket mounts though

I think the Draenei (in general) look good on the sabers and talbuks if we are talking about ground mounts. Females look awesome on horses, now they would properly scale.
Why the heck do gnomes get bigger mounts?

I'd have to say the drakes in some cases...maybe because before I knew about the zoom out setting their wings covered ALL OF my screen.
...Mimirons head...okay who wasn't waiting for that one.
Elekks, sorta I have a hate/love relantionship with them...I loved (notice loved) my main nelf on a Elekk but I hate my draenei on them!
Kodos on anything else but a Tauren...the animation is just too fast and silly, but kodos are luvable! All hail the mighty Kodo!

I rather hate elekks. Not because they're unoriginal, or because I think they're ugly, but because I get stuck on EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING. Part of it is just that draenei are too freakishly tall, but human/dwarven places really just don't get long with my mount. I get stuck on everything, as I said, can't fit through doors, etc.

I actually really like Mimron's head. It just seems amazing to me. I mean, you get to fly around in a GIANT HEAD. <3

Same here. I just want a wee little bit. And then everytime I see it I want it a wee little bit more until I start to want it just kind of and then I see someone run past with their beautiful sparkly pony shooting out stars of sparkly goodness and then I want it a lot and pretty soon I CAN'T STAND IT I MUST HAVE THE PRITTY SPARKLE PONEH IT CONTROLS MY BRAAAINNN!

Ashes of A'Lar. Yes, I find that mount hideous, but as a collector, I would not pass it up.
