I believe there are moths, cats, tallstriders, and crabs in the draenei starting area. I think there's ravagers, too.

Indeed. There's also spiders and bears.

Night Elf lands are also just a quick boat trip away, and will let you grab an owl or a boar. Moths are also readily available in the Draenei starter areas.

And SW is also just a boat trip away which will also net you bears, boars and wolves

And more spiders. :3

Edit: And since you're level 10 already, you could probably hop into Westfall and grab a vulture, while you're at it.

There are 9 tameable beasts on Azuremyst: http://www.wow-petopia.com/search.php?s ... emyst+Isle
Bloodmyst adds another 11 beasts: http://www.wow-petopia.com/search.php?s ... dmyst+Isle

(Err .. ignore the Kurken. Apparently there's a bug with not showing exotics. I'll fix it.)

There's a small bridge that connects the two (though the bridge is over a knee-deep creek, so....yeah). Bloodmyst Isle is north of the other one. Lol, I really can't remember what it's called!!!

Edit: Azuremyst!!! (Had to look at Mania's reply, thanks Mania!!!)

So I think I am gonna go with a Ravager, a blue crab and a moth, good choice? How well do moths stack up in combat? Do Ravager's have an attack that stuns you? Any tips on taming one?

Moths are pretty decent pets. Their DPS is good and they have a special that heals and adds AP. Ravagers have a stun, yes. It's annoying and on a short CD, great for PvP in other words. When you're taming the ravagers they won't stuntough. Just go in and tame to your hearts desire! :P

The ravagers at your level are pretty standard tame, just watch out for adds. It seems like you've got a pretty balanced team. Moths aren't the best ferocity pet, but they certainly aren't the worst, and they can hold their own pretty well. As for crabs, I think they're a great choice, personally. I was initially dismissive of Pin, but it works nicely with my hunter to hold something down while I unload everything I've got.

I rather liked my white moth, Firefly. Definitely something I'll get back come Cata. Gotta love the obscure name reference too...They weren't too bad. He held his own pretty nicely. Ravagers I can't say much about, same with crabs. Never tried 'em.
