Reshiram is the only fire type to not be weak to Water.

Of all Primary versions (the ones usually listed first in thier groups: Red, Gold, Ruby, FireRed, Diamond, and HeartGold) only Diamond and Ruby do not have a Fire type on the cover

Magby's evolution line is the only non-starter Fire type line to be a 3 stage evolution line

Ghost types have no attacks with below 100% accuracy, they all either have 100% accuracy or are "never miss" moves (I just made your Ghosts happy Senna XD)

There are only 18 Ghost types...fewer then any other type (I just made your Ghosts sad Senna >_>)

All Ghost types that have a weakness to Ground due to secondary type have the Levitate ability

Normal types have the most moves (152). 10 of them have 100 power or more...more then any other type. 77 of them do no damage...more then any other.

Every gen has introduced Normal types beginning with the letters C T and S

Bibarel is the only Dual typed Normal type to be weak to Fighting

There are no Fighting type moves that hit both targets in a Double Battle

Fighting has been the secondary type of at least one unique type combo in every gen so far (Poliwrath, Heracross, Breloom and Toxicroak are examples) (Secondary=The second type listed for a Dual typed pokemon)

As of the second Gen, Fighting types (along with Bugs) are one of only 2 type pairings to have the same reaction to each other (they both resist each other) The other pairing is Normal and Ghost who are immune to each other.

None of the Flying type pokemon have Flying as thier Primary type (Primary= the first type listed for a Dual typed Pokemon)

All Pokemon with a 4x weakness to Rock are half Flying type

Every Generation so far has had a Flying type Legendary (Though for 4th gen, this is true for Shaymin's Sky Form...a Grass/Flying type)

Acid is one of 3 Poison Type moves that can't Poison the opponent. It is the only damage dealing Poison type move that is like this. Notably, all non-poisoning Poison type moves have Acid in thier names (Acid Armor, Acid and Gastro Acid)

Qwilfish and Seviper are the only Standalone poison types

Croagunk and Toxicroak are the only Poison types with a 4x weakness

Ground type attacks are supereffective against the most types: 5. This is shared with Fighting types.

Every Generation has had at least one Ground type whose name starts with the letter G (Golem, Gligar, Groudon and Garchomp are examples)

Every generation except the 1st gen has 2 Pure ground types (2nd gen: Phanpy and Donphan, 3rd Gen: Trapinch and Groudon, 4th gen: Hippopotas and Hippowdon)

No Physical Rock type move is 100% accurate. All Special Rock type moves are 100% accurate

The Rock type, along with the Grass type, has the most weakness when not Dual typed: 5. Coincidentally, Rock type attacks are supereffective against 4 of Grass type's weaknesses (Poison being the exception)

Regirock is the only standalone pure Rock type

All Bug types are breedable. Every other type has at least one baby or legendary which are unbreedable.

In all 3 stage bug type evolution lines, the 2nd stage is a cocoon.

Kakuna is the only Dual typed Cocoon (Bug/poison). The others are pure Bug.

If you consider both Attacking and Defending, Steel types are the only ones to have non-neutral interactions with all 17 types.

All Steel Type moves consist of 2 words

Skarmory is the only non-legendary dual typed Steel pokemon that has no evolution line.

With 92 species, Water type is the most numerous of all types.

Every generation has introduced Water/Flying types (1st gen: Gyarados, 2nd gen: Mantine, 3rd gen: Wingull and Pelipper, 4th gen: Mantyke)

Every generation has had a Water type version mascot for one of thier main games. (1st gen: Blastoise for Blue, 2nd gen: Suicune for Crystal, 3rd gen: Kyogre for Sapphire, 4th gen: Palkia for Pearl)

Grass type has been paired with every type it is super effective against (Rock, Ground, Water)

1st gen is the only one without a Grass/Flying type

There is at least one Pokemon with each of the possible type combos that grass is 4x effective against (Rock/Ground, Rock/Water, Ground/Water) This is shared with Flying and Water.

All dual typed Electric pokemon have a type combo unique to the Pokemon itself or its evolution line

Zekrom is the only Pokemon to be doubly resistant to Electric type

Electric type is the least used type in dual typings with only 7 Pokemon being dual typed with Electric being one of the types. 3 of the pokemon belong to the only 3 stage dual typed electric evolution line (Magnemite's line), 2 belong to the only 2 stage dual type electric evolution line (Chinchou's) and the last two are available only once in the games they appear in (Zapdos and Rotom).

Psychic type is the type most used by Legendaries. Every generation has had at least 2 psychic type legendaries (1st gen: Mewtwo and Mew, 2nd gen: Lugia and Celebi, 3rd gen: Latias, Latios, Jirachi and Deoxys, 4th gen: The Pixie trio and Cresselia)

Psychic type is the only one to share its name with a move and a trainer class.

There are currently only 3 legendary pokemon that do not learn at least one Psychic type move via level up: Regirock, Heatran and Phione

Except for Dragon type, all types weak to Ice have been combined with Ice on at least one Pokemon (Flying, Grass and Ground)

In the first gen, there were more Ice types that were weak to Electric then ones weak to Fire. This is due to the large amount of Water/Ice types in that gen.

Ice types have the second lowest number of resistances: 1 (it resists only itself). The lowest is Normal type with 0

In the 1st gen, there was only 1 Dragon type move: Dragon Rage.

There are only 11 Dragon type moves, fewer then any other type. Also there is only 1 non-damaging dragon type move (Dragon Dance), also fewer then any other type

Dragon type is one of two types that will never be 4x effective against anything due to being super effective against only one type (itself). The other is Poison (only effective against Grass). Also Dragon types have only 1 type resist them: Steel.

There are no Dark type attacks with power over 80.

Dark Void is the only Dark type move without 100% or better accuracy

The Dark type is the only one to not be in every generation (there aren't any Dark types in the Kanto pokedex)

How would they take offense to a black Pokémon...?

People will take offense to ANYTHING. Jynx was actually based on the "Ganguro" fashion, which is when young Japanese women would get dark tans and dye their hair blonde or other light colours.

ACTUALLY, if I remember correctly, Jynx is also based on a Nordic Princess. But hey, I could be wrong, but it would explain her being an Ice type.

Deoxys, Giratina, Arceus Lugia and Ho-oh are the only legendaries to have completely unique battle themes. Some may argue that Mew has a unique theme, however Mew's theme is just a remix of a normal Kanto wild battle theme.

Phione is the only legendary pokemon to require breeding to obtain

Phione's status as a legendary has been the subject of much debate. Even Pokemon.com and pokemon strategy guides can't come up with a straight answer. Some may consider it legendary due to the fact that Battle Frontier will not allow you to use one, also Nintendo-sponsored events won't let you use it either.

Heatran is the only legendary with variable genders (itt can be male or female). Latios, Latias, and Cresselia all have genders but thiers are always female, except Latios who is a male.

Heatran is the only dual typed legendary to not be Psychic, Flying or Dragon type.

There has never been a Bug, Fighting or Poison type legendary so far (barring Arceus's use of Plates)

Every generation has had at least one legendary trio and one legendary duo:
1st gen: Legendary Bird trio (Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres) and the Mew Duo (Mewtwo and Mew)

2nd gen: Legendary Beast Trio (Raikou, Entei, Suicune) and the Tower Duo (Lugia and Ho-oh...the duo name is due to the fact that they both originally lived at the top of the Ecruteak towers)

3rd gen: Legendary Golem Trio (Regirock, Regice, Registeel), Eon Duo (Latios, Latias), Weather Trio (Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza)

4th gen: Legendary Pixie Trio aka Lake Guardians (Uxie, Azelf, Mesprit), Legendary Dragons (Palkia, Dialga, Giratina), Lunar Duo (Cresselia and Darkrai)

Many trios have what is called a Trio master...a legendary pokemon that has control or dominance over a legendary trio in some way

Legendary Birds' master: Lugia (as shown in the second movie)

Legendary Beasts' master: Ho-oh (wouldn't you want to be led by the guy that rezzed you?)

Weather Trio's master: Rayquaza (he is capable of ending the battling of Groudon and Kyogre without much effort)

Legendary Golems' master: Regigigas (It is said that Regigigas pulled the landmasses to thier current locations with ropes. He then created three pokemon in his image: Regirock from clay (a type of rock), Regice from ice and Registeel from magma. Regigigas was seen to be too powerful by the ancient people so he was sealed away in Snowpoint Temple. His creations, the Golem Trio were locked away inside secret caves in the distant Hoenn region. It is hoped that one day a trainer will capture and tame the Hoenn Regi's and then tame the mighty Regigigas.)

Legendary Pixies' and Legendary Dragons' master: Arceus (well.....he DID make them...)

Arceus is the only Trio master to lead 2 trios.

Rayquaza is the only trio master to be part of his own trio

Lugia and Regigigas are trio masters of the prior generation's trio.
