Serpent Survival

Hey there, making a quick inquiry about a serpent skin!

I'm curious if this skin is still available in the beta. I ask because it's currently only found in one place, the Temple of Atal'Hakkar in Swamp of Sorrows, and it happens to be my favorite skin.

I currently have this beautiful serpent on Taigi, but I haven't used him in a while. I'm thinking about setting him free for a little bit and retaming him come Cata...but I can only do that if he's still around in Cata.

I checked the posts Saf and Veph made about rare/unique skins, but didn't see this guy listed, so I figured I'd throw it out there for all you beta-testers. Have you seen this skin around?

Sunken Temple is currently undergoing renovations. The instance now starts at the top of the stairs just after exiting the lake, and the instance itself is not working right now. Sooo I can't actually say if the serpent exists inside or not. Call it Shrodingers Snake for the moment.

Many thanks. I'll hold on to Nizari until I know for sure I won't lose him. If it comes to it and I need more slots, I'm sure my two Outlands pets will be safe and can go on vacation for a bit, too.

Hey, just bumping this topic real quick, sorry for the double post.

I still haven't seen this serpent on any of Veph's or Golden's lists or heard much talk about'em. I had planned to check it out myself when my beta key came in, buuuut....yeaaah that's working out real well. XP

So, anybody seen this beautiful snake around?

The Murk Spitters are still in the Temple and still tameable! They're outside the instanced portion, in the Hall of Bones. Screenshot of the tame:

EDIT: The Hall of Bones is the multi-tiered room where the entrance to the old instance lay. The instance is now closer to the start and this area is a dead-end where Jammal'an may be found.

Weren't they in Thousand Needles?

They were for a little while, as were the purple ones. They were replaced in the next patch by previously-untameable olive-green and bright red ones.

And thanks for the clarification on the Thousand Needles serpents. I didn't realize that the two untameables REPLACED these greens and the Venomtip purples; I thought they were all hanging out up there. xD
