eh I'm just getting silithid ravager... with the time spent on Grunter, so help me if they introduce another switcheroo pet with beta

Atleast Grunter isn't going to be marked un-tameable as of yet though. Which I'd be very unhappy if they did. I'd have to get rid of BOTH my Deviate Guardian that I had tamed years ago in BC, and my raiding Wolf for two skins that "never seemed to be meant tameable." I don't care so much for my Wolf, but my Raptor is never going to go. Honestly last night I had a dream about getting rid of him, me killing him and for some reason he dropped epic loot.

True. But they are the only two that I can always just "Pick back up in Cataclysm" or once we get mega-stables. I have KK, Loque, and my Spirit Hydra. Those three are going to stay forever. It just feels like I could never abandon my Raptor, Rex. Mainly because even if he looks like the other Raptors, it just wouldn't feel the same. Even by the game standards it would be the same even if I re-tamed one. Know what I mean?

Besides, having a Hellboar or a Beetle Lord would be awesome. I know I'm replacing my Wolf just a few weeks for Soriid before Cataclysm or the patch, just to make sure those skins will be changed like that. But I'm praying Grunter stays tameable AND in Hellboar form. It's a long shot, but I can always hope.

I got Soriid this evening around 9:50 p.m. on Ysera! (Tilo and Sarayana, make note if you like). Fun times!!! Unfortunately I had to let Rak'shiri go to get it, but at least I know she'll still be padding around the snows of Winterspring in Cataclysm.

I tamed Soriid tonight on Argent Dawn at 9:38 pm after three days of looking. Not full blown camping for 10+ hours at a time but spending ................... you know what I mean. Have SS's but didn't feel like posting them.

From the looks of it the Sithilid rares are all getting a new skin except the Ravager.

Does this mean Clutchmother Zavas is different too? What about Lapress?

From how I understand it, they just have some problems with the database. Fixing the Soriid bug will be much harder than simply wiping a server.

I just tried to tame Soriid a few minutes ago on live after reading elsewhere that he was tameable. I got the error Creature is not Tameable.... :-/ This is of course the old model since it is live.... WTF Blizz?

Were you in SV or MM spec? I did that and got that message, hearthed to Dalaran to go retame Kael, had dinner, realized I was in SV spec, spent 15 minutes returning, and tamed him :/ Tanaris is rather desolate on my server.

Nice finds on Sorrid and Harkaa! I got my Sorrid and Sillithid Ravager yesterday. Checking on Harkaa right now.

As I'm not on beta I can't tell for sure - but by looking at http://cata.wowhead.com/npc=8204 it appears Soriid has reverted back to it's original Silithid style & skin.
