Still looking for Grunter... I don't know why anyone is even doing questing in Blasted Lands, I usually skip it as theres not that many quests there to begin with.

Just doing it to kill my piggeh!

But Grunter isn't part of the quest chain so it's not like he's Loque or KK. But in my experiences he does have a 40 hour spawn timer.

No maintenance on US realms tomorrow which will make it tricky to gauge when he was up last 'shakes angry fist'

Also while selling at Stonard I noticed there's absolutely no ammunition vendor... you can stock up on pet food, your food, your water but no ammo ??

- 24hrs in, boredom lead to trying out Farmville, no Grunter yet, but these fake strawberries are coming along nicely. ooh @ 10-11p there's Spiteflayer, @ 4-5a there's Clack the Reaver, @ 1030a following day there's Ravage, & Magronos the Unyielding"pew pew!".

Being they're on 10-16hr spawn times, I'd think Grunter wouldn't be up till, 7p-12a, but I'm not sure; guess I'll try back then & if not I'll just wait for server restart/maintenance; starting to think this might not be worth it if he doesn't spawn later.

On some servers I've heard it as low as 36 hours but on most from what I've read and on mine 40 seems to be his number. But by all means DO NOT quote me on this and stay glued to his area. Just in case.

Typically the server I'm searching for Grunter on (Vek'nilash-EU) is undergoing 24hour maintenance tomorrow. That might mean that if I can get on as soon as it comes back up again... he might be waiting...

I've seen quite a few other rares (which I've massacred - sorry to anyone after the other rares!) - hoping it will make Grunter spawn next. I've tried annihilating the Ashmane Boars in the area too... Not a glimpse of him, dead or alive.

Sticky Glue + Freezing.... get near the end knocked back

Try three more times & kept getting knocked, then a basilisk wanted to chompa me too.

Ugh; finally calmed down cause I was so concerned someone might one shot him & that I'd been waiting for him so long, think to myself "Oh ya Beserking! 'facepalm', drop my trap, pop Beserking + Tame = yay!

Grats!!! So if I were to want him, I'd need to log on in 32-40 hours. (Not so quick math......) So between midnight and 8:00 a.m. Friday? Is that right? I could probably log on and wait from midnight to 2:00 ish, and maybe wake up a little early to check on Friday morning before work. Hrmz.

Well at 10-11a pst was like 24hr mark, so he spawned I am assuming between 3-4pm pst maybe, which is about 29-30hr mark, as I was expecting him a lot later, & I logged on, on a whim just to check & he was up, note this is Steamwheedle Cartel server so spawn times may vary.

Example: I was waiting for Grubthor on Ysera, since servers came up 11am pst & his spawn time is about:
7-10 hrs

& he spawned about 7 1/2hrs after server maintenance @ 830p pst

Oooooh that was a different server? Poopcicles! Well, grats anyway! Honestly I don't really like the helboar model much anyway, I'll be much happier with Soriid if it keeps its new look.

I've given up on Grunter at the minute, as I'm not sure he's still a Helboar in the current beta release. Instead I've focused myself on a third Silithid - Haarka the Ravenous
