I love drawing fictional animals, and Warcraft's beasties are no exception. I've just completed a picture I'd been rolling around in my head for a bit:

Anyways, my favorite pet is tallstriders. I've always enjoyed their colorful feathers and general goofiness. While more popular creatures like bears, cats and wolves have gotten spirit beast versions, tallstriders were left in the cold... Until now!



It's a little hard to see in the picture, but it has a faint white glow and glowing blue eyes. Its colors and feathers are based loosely on the colorful Chinese phoenix, with peacock-esque racquets (trailing feathers).
