Undead Goblin Skins

I found this video of youtube..currently only male skins but one thought occurs to me just as in the description.. Perhaps goblin dk skins? They look really creepy to me but still cool somehow oh and the face just screams "Joker" I'm talking the Heath Ledger one from the new Batman btw - Why..so..serious? - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbCstWZ0DP0

I think they're pretty cool. I'm impressed with the details of the model, both in overall look and the thought that went into it for where the muscles and skin would be tearing. There are even a few threads holding the skin together at some of the breaks!

If those are the new DK skins, I'm kind of pissed. All the old races got simple recolours. Goblins get a whole new skin. Unfair.

Then again, the old races will look like crap next to goblin and worgen anyway, so why not go the extra mile and make them look much more awesome as DKs too?

It's going to look like two different games got mashed together, from the players to the pets and monsters, assuming they aren't massively overhauling every single thing in the game.

Yep. The contrast between the high and low res graphics is going to be extremely jarring and existing characters are going to look very out of place. Blizz have said that updating existing textures is something they want to do, but I'm not holding my breath it will be for launch. Things on their "to do" list usually take years to materialise, if at all.

I'll be surprised if racials get updated to be more in line with Goblins and Worgen.

I really am a bit apprehensive of how, say, my Tauren and her tallstrider will look in one of the new zones. Or how she or my dwarf would look having tamed one of the new beasts. What I'm picturing is not very appealing.
