Female Worgen Are Ugly (Image Warning)

From boredom I decided I wanted to give everyone a fair chance to form a solid opinion by getting a good look at these ladies. I put together all their lovely faces! With the deathknight faces you can see how there is shading around the eyes sometimes with pink, orange, green and whatnot which gives more of an eyeshadow effect. With some eyes you will also notice pink on the lower eyelids.

Then I made a bunch of poses to show off the head and body from different angles, a lot just for the fun of it. I chose one of the more wolfy eye options. Just remember it's all a work in progress still, stuff like the neck and other parts might look rather strange.





Feel free to do whatever you want with them, repost elsewhere, whatever! I think the angry faces are the most wolf-like appearance that this model achieves.

Actually I think the post proves tbh, how much the worgen females are still a WIP. Seriously look at the amount of faces. Look. Just. Look.

28 different facial sets. Twenty. Eight.

And i'm honestly sure not all are going to be implimented- even with some of them being DK face/eye sets.


So yeah I'm going to bet the females are going to change alot visually, just like the males did.

Because remember, this was a model that was still faceless when males had wyvern ears and SUPER SAIYAAAAAN hair.

Based on the masks that got leaked a long time back I think the female faces haven't changed much, just variations were made.

You have to keep one thing in mind:

Most of the players are male.
Most of the designers are male.
Most of the model / texture artists are male.
Most of the PR-people are male.

Why I mention this?
Because it is the reason why all the male models are muscular and the female models are sexy.

I was just gonna say that. They look like they're missing big, long, furry tails--for appearance, posture AND balance. But then, I felt that way about the males, AND the original worgen too


I think the coloring on those faces is pretty 'off,' although the total effect isn't bad. I also noticed that they have several nose shapes and colors, which nullifies my worry about the stupid tiny cat nose. It's still the skull/ear/muzzle shape that bothers me, and you can really see it in some of those images--they just don't attach to the neck right, and the jaw is sort of a misshapen lump sticking out & down. But the graphic quality at least is good, and the animations don't look bad either--once they fix the ears, that "puppy-eared beg" is going to look VERY cute.

Then, if they just fix the voices...

Well admitedly some of the changes for armor do make sense- the same way belf females wield twigs and all that. I mean not every female of all the playable races are able to be gifted with the strength of an orc, tauren or dorf!

So... for the petite warrior, blizzard implimented Armor!lite, half the armor ALL OF THE PROTECTION.

it is also why my first paladin who was a female never made it past her early 20s. I got fucking sick and tired of all the mail being BIKINIS.

I'll never forget, an ex-guildmate of mine, also female but very troublesome--big into drama, that sort of thing...

She had a blood elf, a lowbie with the most flamboyant hairstyles; she used to flirt with all the male players around. One day she got a piece of gear--mail or plate, I forget. But it was HOT FREAKING PINK, very very tiny, a thong really, and very dark right down the "middle" of the, erm, rump. I took one look and just facepalmed, but she thought it was the coolest thing in the world!

*shudders* I have to agree...seeing the various poses and faces, they're worse off than I thought. I hope Blizzard reworks them from the ground up, but I fear what we see now is a pretty good indication of what they will end up as aside from a bit of tweaking.

Yeah, I totally did not take tons of screenshots of my orc warrior dancing in front of a bonfire in Orgrimmar wearing those very same pink thong-pants. Of course I can't find those screenshots now, but I did take them. I guess these figureprints will do! Lol, I think it's quite hilarious actually, because I have this big green muscular orc with a neon-pink metal thong. I love it.
