Re: Ring Worms [not the fungus either]
I'd LOVE one of these things! I'm not a huge fan of most of the worm models but these look awesome. I agree they'll probably be labeled as elementals, but maybe we'll get lucky...I mean, we do have that one random demon dog that's supposedly a 'wolf'...

Re: Ring Worms [not the fungus either]
actually all these worms are beasts and the quests involved describe them breeding and reproducing rapidly like beasts so i assume blizz might make them tameable when they do their pass on pets
heck they added more rock flayers that are beasts
*crosses fingers for tameable rock flayers and new worms*

if you can find if any of the Gyreworm speices are tameable please report it here with a confirmation screenshot
thanks

I am able to goto Deepholme (if that is where they are located). Have any clue where they are located within the zone?
If they are in an instance someone else will have to do the digging.... I do not do dungeons.

Didn't see any of the other colored worms in Deepholm. Right... back I go.

Re: Ring Worms [not the fungus either]
Flew around Deepholme....
All the worms I saw were NOT tamable. As well as the various oddly named "beasts" that were really elementals.

They are all the way to the north, in the blueish crystally ice area. Watch out for the cave at the back of the ice crevasse - it ate me last time I was there.

Theres a few of the "green" variety (1 is not elite, the other 2 are). Not currently tameable.
There's also a huge "red" colossal gyreworm which is also not tameable.

One of the gyreworms is missing - and thats the type you summon during a quest to attack the twilight camp. (Not tameable)
As you can see, Gorged Gyreworms are listed twice - and both have different NPC ID's. I believe this is because in-game some of the mobs move like normal worms, and the others move around like they are churning their way through the ground. Both I've checked as untameable.
There's also one called "Ravenous Tunneler" which I've not found in-game (as of the current build).

Those are really interesting looking. I don't know if I'd tame one (if they are going to be tameable), but they are certainly neat looking.
