So those who have Silithid Ravager, it's now a color changer in beta?

Honestly, I have no idea. It's possible although there's also a chance they could have created a new mob ID... and this seems more likely. They're not rares anymore, so there must have to be a new mob-ID for those particular creatures. I really don't have any way to be 100% sure.

You guessed correctly. My beast lore however, worked on him. While he's not tamable he IS a beast.

Wouldn't worry too much about that; color changers often lose that capability later in beta.

Ehh... I'd hate to have Silithid Ravager now... only to find out she's a silly color changer come Cata when I could've spent that time-frame getting the AQ one instead, ya know?

That's true. It's all which detail matters to you more - the pet's actual color or that specific embodiment of your pet.

Soriid has a new name, he's still a beast, and he has a diet...

EDIT to link to this thread. Soriid and Haarka are back as themselves and both of the new brainbugs have their own names.

Someone needs to make a vid of the brainbugs dancing to Can't Touch This....it'd be appropriate.
