ok so im in a sticky spot. I am been happy with my stable but i hit a snag. I know have Duilwen (kk), Sia ( aotona) Midori (green nether ray) LoGosh ( OCJ) and Angelus ( oil stain wolf) my problem.. i dont need 2 wolves but i love all my pets. but i been missing Kasumi ( CM) and after seeing my picsture from when sili was a baby and she had her panther Talon, i miss him to. I am not sure what to do. I know we will prob get the stable slots before cata and even if we dont but its just the wait... i just dont know what to do.

If you have the slot, You could roll another hunter. Otherwise it really does come down to what you want more and what can and can't be replaced. OCJ is still around in cata, but the Oil Wolf trick is not easily replicated. So if it was only a matter of time until you got more slots, It would be better to let OCJ loose for a biut and reclaim him after the patch. Frankly it sounds like you've filled your stable with rares and for the most part you're jsut going to have to tough out the feelings until there's room for them all.

i tried rolling another hunter and it didnt work out to well.. i mean again im starting to questing my stable and im not the best when it comes to waiting lol

I hate being torn. In a sense my main is in the same position yours is. Two wolves and three other pets I REFUSE to release
Her stables are:
King Dred
Loque
Skoll
Oily
The Beast

The only one I might be willing to give up is Loque but at the same time I really love. Oily and The Beast are 'for sure' permanents and so is Dred.

But ..................... I agree that OCJ is probably the one you would want to release as it appears he may just be the easiest to get back. I hope this helps.

Yeah, if I was in your shoes, I'd drop OCJ since he's/she's available in Cat. CM is a cool pet and I've thought about getting her again but can't drop anything now LoL

Well I would wait until cata and get the new clutchmother skin. But if you want the clutchmother herself then I'd drop Old cliff jumper. Then again it depends whitch pet you have the strongest bond with. I was in a similar position with my two striders and I decided to get rid of my clutchmother. I needed a tanking pet but I realised when I was just about to release her that I liked her too much to let her go. Maby you will just find out that way?

I went to tame something that I thought was cool from time to time.

Later on, I realized that I only used 2 pets:

• my yellow lynx Gerethay for solo
• my "mount style" wolf Logrim for instances / raids

So I went and cleared out my stable from time to time as well, thinking along the lines of it not being fair to keep those pretty beasts caged up somewhere and never let them see the sun again. That's why I set them go free.

yeah i guess i get into that mode of " <said pet> was a hard to find pet and i had to camp him and i dont want to have to do it again" my stable is as follows,
1.Duilwenshanu (kk)
2.Sia (aotona)
3.Midori (green netherray)
4.Angelus (oilcoat wolf)
5.Logosh (OCJ)

my duilwen and sia i could NEVER let go becuase they mean to much to me. And latley ever since i got my oil wolf i havent even pulled logosh out i loved him but ever since i got the oilcoat wolf, i haent even brought him out. i let him go once and i kicked myself for it.... but now... it seems like i come to see him "as a raiding pet" and not a companion.... heck i went into toc 10 today and didnt even take logosh and he is 80, i took Angelus who is 75... 76 maybe..

Keep in mind that Angelus is "the new guy".
I could pretty much imagine that the coolness of him wears off.

To have a wolf for raiding is just fine. I do that too. But mostly because

• people kept telling me that a wolf is mandatory and they wouldn't let me join raids unless I had a wolf
• the wolf actually boosts your damage even when you make him stay at your side because of AoEing bosses.

I chose that riding model wolf because I wrote two makros where it said that I jumped on or jumped off Logrim and summoned or dismissed a similar looking mount.
I always got whispers like "How can you ride your pet?" or "How do you make your mount stay when you are on foot?"
Was so much fun...

yeah i see where you are coming from. I might do like sochi said and wait like a week and see how i feel then. LOL i bet you freaked the daylight out of some people with that lol i owuld of been like OMG HOW DO YOU DO THAT?!?!

But it was so easy to spot that it were two different models...
One has lighter fur.
One has blue eyes and the other has purple eyes.

But yeah, some freaked out!

One thing also is how hard would it be to get the green netherray back???
That's another option if you didn't really want to release OCJ.
Or even release both and see what other pets would make you happy. I didn't catch how bonded you were with the netherray so I thought I'd mention it.

Edit: I have yet to be asked about my oily wolf. I've received only one compliment on him and that was from someone in a heroic dungeon who wasn't on my server.

I'd say don't give up a sure thing (SB/rares) over the oily wolf. There's a good chance that his oilstaining may go the way of Arikara and Gez's poof animation and then you'll just be left with a gray worg and the knowledge that you got rid of something really awesome for it.

Were it me, I'd ditch the nether ray. They're not even rare.

I'd say let Blizz give us extra sluts now; this is really making us nervous. They sure love to keep us on our toes.
