Yay Babies! :D

Back in June my female corn snake laid eggs, they hatched at the end of last month, and I am currently in the process of making sure they all get their first feed and finding homes for them.
But til then, pictures

OH MY GOSH I WANT ONE o_o I honestly squeed when I saw them all in the box together. I think the albino and the dark pinks are the cutest. <3

I AM TIRED OF THESE SNAKES ON THIS PLANE!!! *coughs* Done with that, sorry. I think they are adorable! The one darker parent reminds me of one of the wild ones I sort of shelter here around the apartments. I know I shouldn't, but he is just so cute that I can't make myself move the firewood from the side of the building. I walked over to it one day and saw him peeking up over the edge at me.

Very cool. My snow corns have laid 2 clutches of eggs, but I do not have an incubator anymore, so no way to get them to hatch. I also still have my old cali king who is about 14-15 years old and I still have one of his kids from the second clutch that he and his mate made. His mate escaped and was never found before I moved.

The snakes on the plane pic was due to a guildy actually lol. I'd posted pics on our realm forums and he said I should take a picture with them on a tiny plane, so I did lol
The plane is in their tank now xD

And yeah, my female originally laid 16 eggs!! ><
Only two were infertile, and ALL the other hatched.

But it has been a really fun experience. If anyone ever wants to try their hands and hatching and rearing snakes I'd definitely suggest trying out corns, they are very easy

but I do not have an incubator anymore

I actually didn't have an incubator either Joly. You can make kinda a 'home-made' incubator by getting one of those Styrofoam coolers you can get almost anywhere, and putting a little water in the bottom of it. Put a strip thermometer inside it, then get an aquarium heater (just any fishtank heater will work) and put it in the water. Put a brick or a can in there to put the container with the eggs in it on top so it's above the water, then put on the lid.
Bam! Home-made incubator ;D
