This makes me sad... Although the wording of the blue post there makes me wonder if it'll resurface as a 5 man instance in some form. (with mounts in tact).

None-the-less, they had better keep the mounts available. I know a lot of people still grinding for them (Myself semi-included). I do not want these gorgeous mounts to suddenly disappear.

It's still there.

It is on the world map now (maybe it's always been?) and it's quite possible to fly over the mountains/walls and into the area in the regular gameworld, but then it's empty of mobs. The portal is there as well, inside the door, but no mobs guarding it, and inside it looks just as it always has.

dang it that sucks i do hope there will still be a way to get the mounts though.. *cries* must...farm...MORE

Guys even if they did change it to a 5 man or quest hub the loot table would be differnt so i would not be shocked if they did not drop mounts too.

We don't know if they're just wiping it completely from existence yet, or if they will implement these mounts in other ways..... Obviously I would love more information just like everyone else, but I'm hesitant to start going on (another) farm-fest when it may not even be necessary.

There are three threads on this topic right now, but Moonlost said in one of the other topics that,

May I also advise people to not panic until we hear exactly what Blizzard is planning (Meaning when they give us more than a seven word sentence. Blizz could save a lot of Drama if they explain this sort of crap right away). Yes, there's a posibility of us losing some mounts and/or minipets. But there's a chance that we won't. And there's a chance that ZG will be replaced with a new 6 man instance called Zul'Eepik, which has a chance of dropping a devilsaur mount with a rocket strapped to it's back so it can fly. Until we hear word, this sort of speculation that just gets you pissed off is pretty pointless and ultimately unhealthy.
