Good City Builder Game?

Lately I've been wanting to play a game like one I used to play loooong ago called Pharoah. It was cute you could build a little Egyptian town and make neat buildings. So I was wondering if anyone on here could offer some advice as to what would be a good city builder game to look in to? I'm not looking for anything too complicated something with asian architecture would be great,but I'm open to any suggestions. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

I played some Sim City 4 a while back, if you're looking for a Sim. Just don't take the new one. It sucked.

Honestly, if you are looking for a purely sim building game, Sim City is probably still your best bet.

I'm more of an RTS gamer myself. The only thing better than building an awesome city is knocking someone else's down. Been playing Rise of Legends of late and ended up getting a friend hooked .

If you're interested in a city-builder game that's not exactly a Sims game but has that Sims touch in a place after death, there's this really old game I have called Afterlife. Theoretically, you build cities in heaven and hell and you have supernatural beings working for you. There is no such thing as death in the Afterlife but you can lose Souls if you don't meet their desires in time.

Sim City! Yessss!

I was one of those people that would build a nice, big, beautiful town...Then I would fling disaster after disaster after them. I'd send in a tornado ravaging a third of the city, a hurricane and flooding would take the other third, and to top it off, some volcano would explode and they'd be all on fire.

Also, Sims tower was a fun one. You make a tower, people visit, and you try to make it a five star. Actually really fun.
