No problem,I don't really play a hunter on live but, I've always loved the pets in the game lol. cataclysm has so many new ones I think I might have to level my hunter past 72 for good now. lol

The answer to the shredder question is simple. From the diet, the shredder is obviously being driven by a tallstrider. Naturally it should be tameable.

Oh my, I've wanted that cat since I first saw it leveling up- I even RAN all the way to Crossroads with that quest because as a hunter with it, you had two pets until he de-spawned, and at the time it let you take him outside of the zone. Thanks for showing us this- I hope it stays through to live so we can nab our own!

I used to take that kitty all the way to Orgrimmar and people would ask me how I got that pet. Never turned in the quest yet because of that. Good to see kitty is now tamable.

Awesome find!

Presumably the original "Corrupted Cat" and "Corrupted Saber" NPCs from live are gone for good, and replaced by the "Winna's Kitten" NPC for the post-Cataclysm quest?

It was posted earlier that she's up all the time, though I don't believe it's been expressly posted confirming that you can see her after completing the new Cataclysm quest/quest chain.

Shouldn't make a difference if you've done the quests on live, though. :)

So "Winna's Kitten" quest is a completely new quest in felwood, of which you spawn a cat that you can in turn tame?
